We were passing through Charlottesville on the way from Wash DC to Asheville NC.
Duner's was recommended to us by the very nice folks at the Barboursville Vineyards (incredibly nice folks there making some excellent wines for Virginia). Duner's is a little gem of a restaurant outside of Charlottesville. If you are going to be anywhere in that area, you need to go see what Duner's is all about. The place itself is so understated, but the food and the staff are what sets this place apart. We have a new favorite restaurant in the Charlottesville area. Duner's

We always love coming to BMB! If you're a beer lover you're obviously in for a treat -- they have some great seasonal brews and well as "standards". For those who love wine they carry a great selection of local wines (veritas/cardinal point/etc.). As for the food, it really depends on what you get. The pizza is amazing (all the ones I've tried) and they make some great apps (go for the nachos all the way). I didn't care for their burgers but that's just my preference.
If you're looking for a fun atmosphere with some good beer, BMB is your place!

Only one other patron in the restaurant for our 10 a.m. visit. Service was extremely slow, which resulted in our paying for our snail-paced coffee then departing as breakfast was served nearly 40 minutes later.
That said, having had breakfast and lunch at Stella... many times in the past, and having visited with groups of 10 or more, the food has always been outstanding, but the service has always seemed slow, particularly when just two of us were being served. This just happened to be the time when the wait was unusually long.
Had the restaurant been busy, or had the servers and kitchen staff not seemed to be enjoying their camaraderie rather than refilling coffee or keeping us posted on the progress of one omelet and two eggs over easy, we would have better tolerated the wait.

The staff here knows me well. I love good ice cream and Kline's has been a Waynesboro institution for years. I'm typically here at least once and sometimes twice a week. Chocolate is my favorite but I've had mint and banana and strawberry - not a bad choice in the bunch. Staff is always nice and a tip for service is much appreciated.
Do yourself a favor - if you like ice cream - check out Kline's.

We are a casual fine dinning restaurant that makes our food from scratch. We offer jumbo scallops wrapped in house cured bacon, grilled flat iron and sirloin steaks, gumbo, crawfish etouffee, Po-boys and one of the best reubens made with house made sauerkraut in Virginia. Most of our menu can be modified to be Gluten free as well. We look forward to seeing you soon
Delicious salad-wasn't expecting chicken on the Greek Salad, but nice surprise to have the protein. Took food to go back to Iris Inn. Extensive menu with daily specials. Locals were there-so either a good place, or only place. No t.v. at bar area. Welcoming surprise-had to talk to each other!

This dinner was beyond amazing. We had 3 courses of pure amazement. There were only 3 couples eating there that night and the level of service and quality of food were stellar. The shrimp and grits, the beef tenderloin, the dessert......unforgettable. The personal intro by the chef, the wine, the flavored water, the setting right in the middle of the vineyard....this is an experience not to be missed.

Perfect stopover. Stopped in to get coffee and drinks for the family. Exposed brick and reclaimed wood makes for a great atmosphere to accompany delicious beverages which were prepared quickly.

My husband and I happened upon this place last fall, out in the middle of nowhere. Both times we go pulled pork sandwiches with slaw. The sandwiches must have almost 2 inches of meat on them, plus delicious seasoned sauce. This time we brought a pound of pork home for later and a home-made peach cobbler. Both were outstanding! No real dining area but picnic tables outside if you want to eat there. We made a special trip to get their food for our anniversary...and we will be back!

Autumn drive took us through Waynesboro and ended up late rainy afternoon on Broadstreet. . Nondescript place, but inside was warm atmosphere. Giant burgers and huge orders of fires, and not expensive. Although they were busy the waitstaff was very attentive and friendly. Definitely a retun is called for.

Stopped in on our way home and had a great experience. Had a couple of well made drinks and also had the pleasure of talking to the owners for a little while. Super friendly couple that actually care about what they do. Waynesboro is lucky to have them and their shop.
