Enjoy the guesthouse's large garden overlooking the beautiful Bregninge church, eat homemade food and spend your holiday in one of our cozy rooms with comfortable beds. From here you can experience the entire island, whether you are walking, cycling, driving by car or motorbike. Even the free bus takes you straight to the door. The guesthouse offers cozy hideouts, both indoor and outdoor where you can relax, enjoy each other and meet new friends. The restaurant provides locally sourced food which you can enjoy in the shade under the old blood beech tree. Everyone is welcome. We offer parking, space for bikes, fishing rods, golf bags and hiking boots etc. Free WIFI. We arrange longtable dining, food classes, music and experiences.
A cozy, wonderful two night stay on Ærø. Hanne and Steen were incredibly kind and helpful to us and always up for a good conversation. We came with our 1-year-old and they were accommodating especially given it was our first hotel with a baby. The room and common areas were clean and there were hand sanitizers located throughout the B&B. And the garden was a lovely place to have a drink and watch our baby explore. The food was incredibly delicious as well. Breakfast was usually served beginning from 8 am and included coffee, orange juice, skyr, boiled egg, etc. Dinner was a feast. They use local products and the serve traditional Danish. B&B was also easy to find coming off the ferry from Søby (an 8-minute drive). I would highly recommend this place to other families looking for a nice getaway weekend on Ærø. We will surely come back.

Wonderful location, very modern and clean appartments and the most amazing, kind host. Can't imagine a better place to stay on Aero, but it is best to book a room there if you come by car. Absolutely recommend it to everyone.

My wife and I followed the advice of our Rick Steves guidebook and spent a couple of nights in late August, ‘19 on the island of Aero, in the little town of Aeroskobing. We’re glad we did because was definitely one of the most charmingly picturesque places we visited during our three weeks in Scandinavia. Aeroskobing is where the ferry from Svendborg lands, and it is about as cute as it gets. The entire central core of the town consists of old shops and houses that have been lovingly preserved and restored. Walking through it is a delight. The nearby countryside is also a major attraction, with low hills covered with farms and dotted with other quaint towns. These are reachable by bicycle, car, or the free bus that circles back to Aeroskobing. We decided to take our rental car to the island, which was very easy and reasonable to do on the ferry (tip: we reserved and paid for our passage online so that we were assured of crossing from Svendborg at a particularly time). We chose the Hotel Aerohus partly because it offered free parking. If you leave your car in Svendborg or otherwise don’t have one, there are a number of other well-located options in town, though we found many are rather pricey or have shared bathroom facilities. The Aerohus is more or less right in the center of the old section, with several good restaurants nearby as well as a number of shops. The whole area is easily walkable, including to and from the ferry landing. The Aerohus is an old inn with a long connected addition to the rear that has event spaces and lodging rooms on either side of a hallway that eventually leads to the parking area. The old part houses a cozy reception area and bar, plus a larger restaurant off to one side. In front of the hotel is a pleasant outdoor seating area that provides an optional place for eating breakfast and dinner, weather permitting. The breakfast buffet was very ample, with a selection of fruit, yogurt, cereals, scrambled eggs, meats, etc. Wifi in the public areas and in our room was strong and fast. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Our room (#72) was in the newer section, one of the two rooms nearest the parking. The proximity to the parking was convenient, but there were quite a few passersby passing our windows on their way through the garden patio area on their way to the front of the building. The room was large but the decor was a bit utilitarian. The queen bed was comfortable, though we found the pillows low and hard. There were two night stands, a desk, two sitting chairs and a small table, and a built-in closet. A bureau along one wall contained a small refrigerator. The bathroom was large and attractive, with a skylight, a nice feature. The walk-in shower was large. Although the pedestal sink didn’t provide much storage space, there was a spacious ledge in the shower area that did. All in all we felt the Hotel Aerhus was a good choice for our two nights in Aeroskobing.

We booked the hotel during summer according to nice reviews via agoda and it was all fine. We booked the trains and planed our travelling routes. Next day the owner sent me a message asked me to cancel the booking without reason. We called him just to find out that he was afraid of Corona and he accepted only danish citizen. We tried to explained that I have been living in Denmark for many years, not been travelling to anywhere for more than 6 months and being healthy but he still didn't care...I think it's kind of Racist. He refused only because I'm not a dane! It doesn't make sense at all... We had to change our plan and it was a bit of hassel as all the hotels on Ærø were packed during that time. I hope he will learn that Corona can transmit even from the danes.

Very cosy and elegant house right by the main square. The room was lovely, the bed was very comfortable and the private bathroom was clean. It was all that we needed. There is a kitchen, a nice garden and a courtyard that can be used by guests. The host is kind and welcoming.
