Enchanting Aero is the most charming of all the islands of this dramatic archipelago. Just 14 villages and three towns dot this calm 19-mile-long island, where gentle roads amble by villages, windmills, dolmen, thatched farmhouses and rich green fields. A perfect place for bicycling, this capsule of times gone by offers Viking ruins, market towns, fields of flowers and an almost fairy-tale ambiance. The best beach on this, Denmark's sunniest spot, is Risemark Strand, on the island's southern tip.

Enjoy the guesthouse's large garden overlooking the beautiful Bregninge church, eat homemade food and spend your holiday in one of our cozy rooms with comfortable beds. From here you can experience the entire island, whether you are walking, cycling, driving by car or motorbike. Even the free bus takes you straight to the door. The guesthouse offers cozy hideouts, both indoor and outdoor where you can relax, enjoy each other and meet new friends. The restaurant provides locally sourced food which you can enjoy in the shade under the old blood beech tree. Everyone is welcome. We offer parking, space for bikes, fishing rods, golf bags and hiking boots etc. Free WIFI. We arrange longtable dining, food classes, music and experiences.
A cozy, wonderful two night stay on Ærø. Hanne and Steen were incredibly kind and helpful to us and always up for a good conversation. We came with our 1-year-old and they were accommodating especially given it was our first hotel with a baby. The room and common areas were clean and there were hand sanitizers located throughout the B&B. And the garden was a lovely place to have a drink and watch our baby explore. The food was incredibly delicious as well. Breakfast was usually served beginning from 8 am and included coffee, orange juice, skyr, boiled egg, etc. Dinner was a feast. They use local products and the serve traditional Danish. B&B was also easy to find coming off the ferry from Søby (an 8-minute drive). I would highly recommend this place to other families looking for a nice getaway weekend on Ærø. We will surely come back.

Double or Twin Room, 1 Queen Bed, Ensuite, Sea View and free continental breakfast. The best view ever. Wake up in the morning with a full view of the sun setting and having the sea as the backdrop. You can truly relax at this place. We also have 100Mbit free wifi internet, so that you can be connected to the outside world if you prefer. We look forward to see you.
The view from this bed&breakfast will calm you down instantly. Good beds and clean rooms. Nice atmosphere with bar and pool table in the basement. Note that this refurbished former nursinghome is not your regular hotel but they focus on what they do and do it well. Very kind and hard working staff. There is not a restaurant but they serve good breakfast and one three course menu every night. We had dinner once and it was delicious including the wines. Wifi is good. when I visit Aeroe again, this is where I will stay

The hotel is in Ærøskøbing with the old cobblestone streets on Brogade’s side, and the hotel garden leading to the water on the other side. In a few minutes walking distance: beaches, restaurants, harbors and ferry’s arrival. Private parking without extra fee is available for the guests. Italian restaurant and pizzeria “AmoreMare” on site. Badehotel offers 12 double rooms, 1 family room, and 9 single rooms, thus space for 38 overnight guests. Room accommodations are not luxurious, but individually decorated and rather kept in a very authentic, and cozy style, as in the original “seaside hotel” concept. All rooms have large windows, seating corner, cupboard, and a wash basin. Bathing and toilet facilities are found in the 3 different hallways. Children are welcome, however: being an ancient and protected building on more levels and with stairs, Badehotel might not be the best choice for guests with reduced motion abilities, unfortunately. Pets are welcome too, extra charges are applied.
What a fantastic place to use as our base for 3 days on Aero! Monica is a gracious hostess and Badehotel Harmonien was terrific -- right on the water, adjacent to the hiking trail that goes from one end of the island to another. The hotel is also convenient to the wonders of Aeroskobing and conducive to lots of exploration. We opted for rooms with shared bathrooms (one for males, one for females), but in exchange we had two rooms that overlooked the water -- rooms 21 and 22. Amazing to wake up to that view every day. A shared terrace is outside, but there was very little noise or disturbance from people coming up. Breakfasts were delicious and filling -- just reserve ahead of time so Monica knows you are coming! One evening we had dinner at the in-house restaurant and the pizzas were as good to eat as they smelled. Definitely worth a reservation. We would happily return and would definitely request those rooms again!

This tiny inn is right on the village square in Aeroskobing. We were there four nights. It was an excellent home base four touring the village and the island. The couple who run it are friendly and helpful. It was very clean. The kitchenette was very handy as we shopped at the local Netto grocery store to avoid Denmark's very expensive restaurants. The walls are very thin. The room next to ours was unoccupied the first three nights. On the last night we could hear every word said in the next room. The wifi was good. The TV gets plenty of channels. The reasonable cost makes this place a fine value.

We are a B & B situated in a rural location on a plot of 10300 m2. We have 3 apartments with kitchen and 2 double rooms with kitchenettes and refrigerators. All have flat screen TV and free wifi In the large garden there is a playground and plenty of space to socialize with barbecue etc.. We also have a small store with ice, beer and water, etc..
Stayed for a long weekend in mid-May. It's a lovely place and the owners were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. We stayed in the downstairs apartment which was big enough for 2 adults and 3 children (they slept on sofa bed and extra mattresses in the lounge). The property has a big garden which guests are free to use and its great for kids to run round in, lots of seating and space outside for BBQs etc. Aero is a pretty, relaxing island, great place for a weekend away.

Wonderful location, very modern and clean appartments and the most amazing, kind host. Can't imagine a better place to stay on Aero, but it is best to book a room there if you come by car. Absolutely recommend it to everyone.
