Reviews on Georgian food in Batumi, Adjara Region, Georgia. Batumi (Georgian: ბათუმი [bɑtʰumi]) is the second-largest city of Georgia, located on the coast of the Black Sea in the country's southwest. Situated in a subtropical zone near the foot of the Lesser Caucasus Mountains, Batumi is a popular tourist destination known for its varying weather–it is a bustling seaside resort during warm seasons, but it can get entirely covered in snow during winter. Much of Batumi's economy revolves around tourism and gambling, but the city is also an important sea port and includes industries like shipbuilding, food processing and light manufacturing. Since 2010, Batumi has been transformed by the construction of modern high-rise buildings, as well as the restoration of classical 19th-century edifices lining its historic Old Town.

Georgian food Prepared with FRESH ingredients & old Adjarian recipes
This restaurant is not in the most solubrious area of the town, with a few lower grade casinos and the âmassage palours nearby. We had the cold platter which could have done with some bread to mop up the sauces and dips but the waiter said we did not need any.presumably he had run out. Drink a little prices compared to others but okay. Would have probably expected a little more from this place

What a pearl we discovered here in the city of Batumi. Donât let the facade fool you. This is genuine Georgian restaurant when it comes to food. The restaurant is packed with locals, enjoying great food and live music in the weekend. Our waitress, by the name Linda, were almost fluent in the English spoken language and extremely helpful. Sheâs also fluent in Russian. And the prices are ridiculous low.Highly recommended!

If you are looking for comfortable place with traditional georgian dishes then welcome to Heart of Batumi:-) you will enjoy our special menu for special quests like YOU.
We had such a great meal with my wife! We ordered a Georgian salad and some local appetizer as starters. âHatchapuriâ Atzarski was an amazing combination with all these. Soon arrived our pork and chicken barbecue or âShashlikâ as they call it! Both were very soft, right amount of spices and cooked delicious! Local red semi-sweet wine had a very pleasant aroma and taste. Service fast , helpful and very polite! Environment friendly and clean! Definitely recommend this restaurant! Madloba!!!

I've been here several times. Restaurant is small and cosy . They serve mainly Georgian food, but also varieties of pizzas, salads and soups. However Georgian khinkali is the best in the city. Make sure you pair your meal with their top notch wine selection. Everything in reasonable price.

Gone there with friends to eat "best" khinkali in Batumi.Khinkali looks big but inside meat not that much. The taste is normal. Have eaten better in another restourant.Waiters were'nt interested with us. Took to much time in a row.I understand that it was peak hour but it is not my problem. Not recommended.

Daiquiri is: * 3 floors with terraces, surrounded by plants, overlooking the sea; * Georgian and European cuisine; * large cocktail card; * hookahs; * wine... and more
It's a good restaurant to spend time with family or friends, located just by the promenade, with the beautiful view on the Black sea. They have double menu- georgian and european. So fans of both cuisine can find something delicious. We tried eggplants with walnut pasta, pkhali, pasta with seafood and kebab. Everything was grate. They have wide assortment of alcohol - homemade wine was good. The only little minus are prices - for me it was the most expensive place in Georgia. But of course this location can explain that.
