A newly renovated boutique hotel (the rooms of which, I haven't seen) with two restaurants, one for seafood and one for meat lovers. They have an excellent Sicilian 'tasting dish' which contained a broad range of local seafood, including carpaccio of swordfish and tuna; squid; mussels, prawns, crab; and fish. It was an ample starter for two people to share. Following that, we enjoyed Pesce Zuppa, with a freshly caught local fish broiled in a piquant stew of tomatoes and some vegetables. Perfect, and enjoyed with a cold local white wine.

While on holiday in Santa Tecla we had a coffee here every night after dinner as it was the best in town.On our last day we had lunch here and it was excellent! We sat outside in the square overlooking the sea and were given a great selection of dishes to choose from. Most helpfully they had an English menu (first place in town we found) and the waiter spoke some English too. We had delicious tomato bruschetta to start and then pasta with aubergines and Parmesan and fresh fish and salad to follow. A simple yet delicious lunch

We stayed one night and 2 days. The infinity Pool was very nice but the restaurant was not good and super-super expensive.Better to grab some seafood in the nearby restaurants like Bettola die Marinai or Acqua Pazza, our favorite.

Santa Tecla is a hamlet of the town of Acireale, built on lava erupted from Etna and come up here into the sea, many centuries ago. The pizzeria is in the center of the village, and has a terrace that overlooks the coast of black lava rocks. In this picturesque setting you can enjoy good pizza following the Sicilian taste, that for those who are trained is distinguishable from that of other parts of Italy: a dough consistent and at the same quite dry.The pizzeria hasn't refined features, but for that who are looking for economy without sacrificing a certain quality. It is very popular in summer: it is advisable to book, especially if you want a sea view.

A lovely and homey Pizzeria, which has been operating since 1979, with a wood-fired brick oven and a vast selection of Pizzas and Focaccias! Located in a sea-side Italian village in the province of Acireale, just 20 min away from Catania.
We experienced this pizzeria on a hot summer evening. We then asked to be seated in the courtyard (which should have been even more cool if the large umbrellas above the tables had been closed). The pizzas we ordered (two "parmigiana", one "capricciosa", one "marcellina") were appreciable. More precisely, the topping of the pizzas was excellent, while the dough wasn't one of my favorites (a mid-way between the very soft Neapolitan pizza and that of other regions of Italy, rather crunchy). Also, one of the pizzas was a little overcooked on one side.I appreciated the presence of red "Villacher" beer among the drinks. The service was both courteous and fast. The bill for four people, including pizzas, a portion of chips, plenty of drinks, was 52.50 euros.

If you are anywhere within a 100 kilometres of the place, then this is one of the "must visit" restaurants that you cannot miss out on. The fish is absolutely is cooked to perfection and the variety offered includes every type caught in the area. The fantastic service and the sea views (the restaurant sits exactly on the water's edge) do not harm the atmosphere either.

We went here twice in the same week. Lovely menu (mainly fish) at reasonable prices. Good wine list - prices OK. Excellent service. Pleasant decor. A bit quiet, but we were 'out of season'. Pizzeria appeared to be used by locals - usually a good sign!

We were in Dal Barone twice during our stay and it was always great. We had several seafood starters to share and each one was excellent. The risotti and rhe spaghetti did mare were tasty. Just the spaghetti with sepia ink did not meet my taste, but this was me ordering the wrong dish. From the secondi piati we had the grilled sword fish which was outstanding. If you have room left, try the deserts. They are definitely worth it.

Gastro-style pub with rock legend décor, wide selection of beers and cocktails, not overly priced, selection of panini, salads and first courses, incredibly friendly staff who gave a very personal, enthusiastic service. We immediately felt very welcome and they also spoke English, which is great for any tourists visiting Acireale. Looking forward to my next visit!Hi, thank you very much we were pleased to meet you and we hope to see you soon :-)
