Overlooking the longest beach of Acciaroli, on the Cilentan coast, in the Cilento National Park, near Salerno.Seafront with spacious panoramic terracesdisposed as seaside restaurant, the Hotel La Playa is the ideal location for family holidays, pets included. The hotel is made of two buildings, one of them with an elevator, connected by a garden with a children's playground shadowed by old olive trees and large sunshades. The Hotel La Playa disposes of spacious covered common areas, an elegant bar insidethe hotel and another one on the beach, where you may try from awide array of traditional Italian e Campanian dishes or simply sip an aperitif waiting for the sunset. Staff of the Hotel La Playa's restaurant are passionate promoters of the Mediterranean diet and make use of proper organic products grown on the its own estate, located in Acciaroli, too.
We stayed here for one night as part of a cycling holiday. Hotel is mainly occupied by middle aged people (like us!), so it’s quiet. Positives- Location on the beachfront, short walk to centre of town Bathrooms are recently renovated and are very modern View from the balcony over the Mediterranean Breakfast was fairly limited choice - normally I wouldn’t make a comment about this but for the price you pay I think what is on offer is not quite good enough. The only other thing I’d point out is that not much English is spoken here. It’s not really a negative but if something goes wrong and you need assistance it can be difficult. Overall it’s a nice hotel with lots going for it, but it’s expensive!

The hotel has been renewed completely decorated with ceramic vietrese and lava stone. Rooms give to the baths to the external and inside spaces. The hotel has a swimming pool relax heated with idromassaggi and zone solarium.
What a beautiful little hotel. Across the street from the beach. The Tyrrhenian Sea is warm and clean, small waves, very hot sun. AAAAHHHH. Nice clean rooms, two pools, outside lounge area. Tile and marble everywhere. Just beautiful. We want to go back.

Our spacious, light and comfortable two-roomed apartments are easily able to accommodate up to 4 persons. Each apartment has been given a distinctive Mediterranean flavour incorporating modern comforts. The Pool Restaurant and Lounge Bar is in the heart of the complex’s garden, built on a terrace above the sea, at the edge of the pool, where guests can experience the taste of the Mediterranean in a unique atmosphere. We offer delicious Mediteranean cuisine based on either fresh sumptuous seafood or meat. Our dishes are created using only the finest local products. All to be enjoyed in an informal atmosphere, immersed in exotic vegetation and the deep indigo-blue of Mediterranean summer evening skies, under a bed of stars with a subtle background of soft lighting from the Pool’s underwater lights and an array of roman candles. The Restaurant, the Lounge Bar and the Pool are also available for use by clients other than those who are guests at the complex.
We stayed for a week at Villa Oasi in apartment 11, we thought this was the best one, and had a fantastic time. It was so relaxing & peaceful and the owners couldn't do enough for you. You can feel the stresses and strains just float away as you sit by the pool looking out to sea. The best medicine you can have.

Lontano da Acciaroli, raggiungibile con grande difficoltà con una stradina di “montagna” senza parapetti, ripidissima. Stanza basic, letto e poco altro.

Living on the beach: this is the correct sensation when you have holiday at Residence Ancora, located directly on a beautiful sandly beach. Quiet, comfortable, very close to the village center of Acciaroli.
Great facilities here with the pool and the beach, excellent for families. Very Italian and well run by nice staff. Not all rooms have a sea view, some look at the restaurant building so be aware. They did move us to an upper level apartment when one became available. Very easy walking distance into the town of Acciaroli which is delightful.

The Hotel Il Faro is a modern hotel situated beside the wonderful sea of Acciaroli (Blue flag rated for its clean and crystalline water). The Household Management offers a warm and friendly relationship with the customer.Great for Holiday with Children The safe surroundings, the uncontaminated nature, the sandy beach, and the shallow, mild sea are ideal for your children. Enjoy yourself in the Bar with cocktailes and local spirits. You will find the Limoncello liquor produced with the sweet-smelling lemons grown in Cilento National Park.
Only a few people could talk and understans english, the majority only talked Italian which was very annoying. When we asked how to reach Ascea they told us to take a taxi with the price of 60 euro. When we took the taxi he said the price was 40 euro and when walking back to the hotel we saw a bus which went to Ascea only for 2 euro per person, so people of the hotel also did not provide good information. Service was also not optimal, we were with four persons but could not sit with each other on the beach because they said one room reserves two places on beach, while we had a family room with 4 persons. For one plate with one steamed bell pepper 8 euro. Very expensive. They also did not want to give us our receipt.

This is a small resort of apartments of the outskirts of Acciaroli. Ours had a kitchen and living area (well equipped), two bedrooms and two bathrooms. There was also a patio area with table and chairs. The master bedroom had balcony doors opening on to the sea. The moon was full whilst we were there, so the view was beautiful. The manager, Guiseppe, was welcoming, and had just the right amount of attentiveness, but also discretion. Would definitely return.

Stayed here for a few days whilst working in the nearby town. The hotel is a quaint Italian style hotel, with very few people who speak English. The rooms where basic but had everything you needed. Hot water was I’m guessing heated from the sun and as and when I came back (after 8pm) there was usually none left! It’s a sea front location and the beach and sea were amazing. The staff were friendly and meals were good. The downside for us was the noise of the entertainment in the evening (but we were there to work) that went on till midnight.
