We stayed in the loghouse room for a night. The balcony and bathroom had a great view of Lake Toya! Room was extremely spacious for two, there were two big single beds and even one in the loft, which we didnt use. Bathroom had all ameneties and a huge bathtub and window for the view. Food was wonderful! We booked a plan that includes dinner and breakfast but did not expect a 8-9 course meal for dinner. He also explained the ingredients of each dish to us (didnt remember most of them but alot were made from the local Hokkaido products). We had a choice for breakfast- japanese or western style, took the western style which was a simple egg, bacon, sausage, vegetables, gratin platter, nothing too fancy but very delicious. Also came with Hokkaido melon. Service was also good, efficient and we were shown to the loghouse with no issues. WIFI worked well. Location- just a 5 minutes drive away from Toya onsen for the fireworks. We went in summer but i am sure this place will have another charm of its own in winter!

The staff here is super kind and welcoming. Miss Taguchu is wonderful and so helpful. She and the other staff members made me want to recommend that everyone stays at this hotel. The facilities are nice and clean and itms walking distance from Annipuri. Hope to come back soon! Thanks for everything!

In a place with very expensive accommodation, Lodge Koropokkuru represents decent value for a location at the heart of Hirafu village. Family run place with literally kids of staff running around 1st floor. Breakfast was good too. But a few bad points: 1. No lift and every room is on 2nd or 3rd floor so be prepared to climb. 2. Hot water only comes after running the water for about 10mins. 3. TV was amazingly small... like the size of my laptop... we did not bother to switch it on throughout our stay. 4. Towels was very worn out and thin. 5. No privacy as we are facing other accommodations. 6. First Japan accommodation that does not come with 'smart toilet'.

I stayed for 2 weeks, the place felt like home in the end. It has everything you would want. Breakfast can be as early as 6.45, Ideal if you are going to drive to other areas. There is no reason why you shouldn’t have the breakfast, a fresh salad with cooked eggs, cheese bacon etc. A very warm and cosy place to stay, it has a wonderful view of the area from the sitting area upstairs. I certainly would go back there when the powder is plentiful. A rental car makes this area easier.

The Red Ski House is a warm clean Lodge with your Australian and Japanese Host you will feel quite at home ,just right outs side are Bars and restauraunts ,Ski lifts are 10 mins walk or 3min free shuttle bus ride away .Open all year round with the powder snow being the High light of the year your sure to have a great time .
Stayed at this place for three nights. Highly recommended it for the following reasons: - convenient location. It is walking distance to Hirafu Main Street, including shops and restaurants. - very clean facility. The shared bathroom is very spacious and feel more like a private one since I never ran into anyone taking shower at the same time as myself. - friendly hosts. Andrew picked me up at the welcome center on the day when I arrived, and dropped off my luggage at the welcome center so that I could maximum my 5 hours of ski on the day when I was leaving Hirafu. - delicious homemade breakfast. We had different western style meal every morning. - a shuttle bus stop is located diagonally across the street from this place, so it is convenient to get to the Hirafu base or gondola. Since I valeted my ski at the rhythm ski shop at the base, I opted to walk to ski shop in the morning, which is about 10 mins. There is an onsen at the Prince hotel on the Main Street, which is about 10 mins walk from the house. The hosts have a lovely dog, Junior.

Niseko Backcountry Lodge is a large Japanese ski lodge, with 2 stories of facilities, including: restaurant, ski room, drying room, TV's and DVD, comfy communal areas, wireless internet throughout, and Japanese bar. We are located on the slopes of Moiwa, Niseko, with access to endless powder right outside our door. There is plenty of space to relax, hang out and unwind at the end of a hard day on the mountain, and a comfortable bed to rest your head.
our experience at niseko backcountry Lodge was absolutely fantastic the location was perfect, moiwa is the most uncrowded niseko ski resort with excellent backcountry and groomers the breakfast was great but it was the staff that made it, they were friendly and super helpful if I was being picky I would say they could turn down the thermostats a bit as it was too warm for us but this is pretty minor I wouldn't stay anywhere else in niseko

A genuine and fabulous Japanese experience in Niseko, we had an enjoyable time and really appreciated the hospitality provided by Syunichi-san and his wife. The Japanese breakfast buffet and pork stew dinner were the best food that we had in Niseko.

Stayed with a group of five on a ski trip for a week during the worst snow season on record. The food, service, and activities provided by Yu San and his staff were nothing short of exceptional, managing our ache for the snow with a smile and cheerful manner. Central location in Niseko, with a shuttle arriving every half hour on the hour to take you to the slopes, and the public bus just a short stroll up the road giving you easy access to the towns amenities and beyond. Conveniently poised above the pub Half Note we were provided with entertainment ranging from live music to comedy acts. Staff were extremely knowledgeable, conquering all queries put forth and arming us with the knowledge to maximize our experience. Will be returning in future for the whiteroom tour, thank you Yu San and thank you Full Note.
