We are an Italian restaurant and pizzeria gourmet, where you can find the best products from Italy from coffe, wine and gastronomy.
Good Italian food served with care. Only problem was when we visited, on both occasions, the pizza chef was off ( without any warning until we'd sat down) so no pizzas available, which was what we'd gone for. Shame. But otherwise atmospheric little modern trattoria-style with huge choice of eye-wateringly expensive wines. Good good but not a cheap place to dine if you want a few glasses of wine too !

The street food market concept have entered Aarhus, with a couple of places to go to. The central food market are the best one, above the other alternatives in Aarhus. Itâs great to see that the selections of food choices all have a high standard, and not just the concept of being cheap. A great place to show the best of Aarhus in one place.

When visiting restaurant GÃST you will experience Italian-Nordic cuisine, local seasonal produce, and a sustainable approach to both food and people. We serve creatively prepared dishes, where traditional Italian flavors meet modern Nordic thoughts.
Stayed at the hotel and I had looked forward to the resturant's offer of "old Italian food traditions meeting the best of modern Nordic cuisine" - but was disappointed. The resturant advertises that "The pasta is homemade, the ingredients local and the craftsmanship is completed." The pasta might be homemade - but the cook apparently does not know how to cook pasta - nobody wants to eat pasta that is not near to being al dente. The pasta in "Cacio e Pepe" MUST be prefect prepared. The desert was well-composed - but again the cooking was not quite in the top - rabaraber gele had a weird consistency - and the caramel was not present? The staff appeared unattended but professional. However, it was difficult to handle an bill noted to the room. All in all an average experience.

A TRIBUTE TO FELLINI, BAROLO AND BELLA ITALIA. If a real Italian restaurant in your opinion should contain checkered tablecloths, raffia wrapped bottles and a third-rate crooner on repeat, then Grappa is not the place for you. Grappa's love is aimed at a
Between us we had pizza, salmon and Lasagna. Everything was good, if not excellent. Service was nice throughout, professional, efficient. Bread and olive oil were put out complimentary, and the olive oil was great. It was a chilly afternoon, but there is heating and we were offered blankets in addition. This could have been a tourist trap, but we found it to be reasonable value for money, and a great place to be - especially if the weather is agreeable.

Italian Cafe / Restaurant Most say ... "It's exactly like a fancy wine bar in Rome" Here are ONLY served authentic ingredients brought from Italy. Try our antipasti ... the Italian version of Tapas, or one of our delicious crispy pizzas baked directly on
...go to Nero close to the theater and the pedestrian streets. We had a large wooden plate with tasteful "small" different preparations, all together making a full dinner! You can choose between several mini-dishes, different kind of vegetables, pesto's etc. Service is friendly!

Used to make our own Pizza every Sunday, until we discovered Adagio. Gorgonzola pizza is fabulous and the quatro friomage, four cheeses is superb. Nice thin crispy base full of flavour, and generous amount of topping.Only small seating area, but consider home delivery service which is excellent and efficient.
Piccolo is an Italian antipasti bar located in downtown Aarhus. We serve many small cold and hot dishes called Cicchetti - the Italian name for tapas. Our concept is social dining where you can eat a full dinner or just drop by for snacks and a glass of w
Let it be said, the restaurants and cafés by the Aarhus River are generally not worth visiting (Ferinand and Restaurant ET as the prominent exceptions) for the food, drinks or service. In that regard, Grappa Piccolo is a surprisingly positive experience. The food was nice without being unsurpassed. My cacio e pepe was a bit dry. Personally, I still prefer both AmoRomA and especially Prezzemolo when it comes to Italian in Aarhus but Piccolo is certainly a welcome addition to the Italian food scene in Aarhus. Service was welcoming and attentive and had a good overview of things while the kitchen was efficient. Not usually the case by the river cafés.In sum, the score is more like 3,5. I would come back.

Located in a couple of hundreds year old classic building in the Vestergade area of Aarhus, this Italian place is very good. There used to be a classic Danish resturant there for more than 40 years, and this new Italian joint is keeping up with the istory. Very nice atmosphere, quite a large capacity, very good pizzas (haven't tried other dishes yet), makes you feel good and relaxeed - going to go there repeatedly for sure.

Basso Aarhus is social dining with a Italian Twist, in the very heart of Aarhus. The menucard is inspired of traditional Italian dishes, with our nordic legacy.
I unfortunately only had a chance to try their snacks; ravioli, risotto balls, and Fried squids. All were really delicious. The only thing I didn't like was that the portions were extremely small. Especially the ravioli pieces.. But they were all very very tasty. The restaurant is cosy with a nice decoration. Staff is helpful. They serve bread and olive oil until everyone arrives at your table or until you decide what to get. Their bread was fresh and warm. Very nice. They have a social dining concept. Meaning that they won't take your orders until all the expected friends arrive. They offer fixed menus as well as a la carte. I will go there again to try their main dishes for sure.
