The waterfall will take your breath away with its natural beauty and is something truly exceptional to behold. It is easily accessible, about 200m walk from the parking. Can get a bit crowded though. There is also picnic facilities near the falls to make the visit even more worthwhile for the price paid.

Just another wonderful site on our long trip across SA. The falls were a good day trip and a wonderful way to spend time walking and enjoying the view

A very low R15 at the gate then you head to the car park. There’s a market next to the car park which has art, memorabilia and plants that one can purchase. Then you walk down a short distance to the waterfall. Quite a refreshing sight.

It is mandatory to stop here if you are driving in the Blyde River Canyon Nature Reserve! The fall is really beautiful and the surrounding landscapes as well! It is a pity that you can't walk on top of the fall because it is forbidden, but of course it's for your safety. Nice authentic local shops are located in the parking lot.

Entrance is R20 per car. About 100m from parking area you can view the waterfall under the bridge which is quite high in the air but it is amazing to see. There are also one or two smaller little fountains surrounding the waterfall. Lovely picnic spot to spend the afternoon.
