We asked Just Come to pick us up after the doing the Paiva Walkways. The tour guide was super friendly and helpful on the phone and helped us finding the pickup point. Once in the (really cool) car he told us all about the surroundings and we had a great talk with him, he stopped along the way for the great view so we could make some pictures. He even gave loads of tips for the continuing of our road trip. I will come back to do more activities with Just Come for sure and would highly recommend this company.

My daughter and I took a walking tour with Norberto Lopes Pinto in Porto. He was by far the best tour guide we had during our stay in Porto and Lisbon. He is very knowledgeable about the history of his Country. Whether it be architectural, political, or about local gems. His personality is warm and inviting, with a good sense of humor. He created the perfect balance of pointing something out and "moving on" and "staying still" to take in, and learn about about something of important interest. Having Norberto as our first guide raised the bar for each guide after him. A tough act to follow! We're so thankful to have had him show us Porto. Highly recommended.

We had booked this trip months ago and were not sure what to expect. It was expected to be a small group and really lucked out when it turned out to be just the 2 of us!. We had the best driver Celso Araujo with his very confortable BMW and our very knowledgeable, polite and professional guide Gonzalo Murta. Celso was very cautious of the road as he drove us while Gonzalo gave us a very detailed history of how Portugal came to be throughout the years of wars and conquests, very impressive!. He really knew his stuff. Once in Porto we had of course a porto wine tasting which was included in our tour and it was really very interesting. Afterwards we had lunch in a typical Portuguese restaurant(delicious) and then on to a 50 minutes river cruise also included in our tour. We walked the town as Gonzalo pointed out most of its landmarks, did some souvenir shopping and returned to the car which Celso had at the ready!. This was a very pleasant, informative and enjoyable tour. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to spend a great day in Porto. Hopefully you too luck out and get to meet Gonzalo and Celso!. They were amazing!!. ????????

7. Arouca Historic Center - Walking Guided Tour

Av. 25 de Abril 22A, 4540-118 Arouca, Portugal Just Come - Countryside & Adventure Tours

With a history dating back to pre-national times, Arouca was a territory with its own identity, many centuries before being a county. However, the history of Arouca only gained prominence among other lands, after the foundation and later growth of its Monastery and, above all, after the entrance, in its community of nuns, of D. Mafalda, daughter of the second king of Portugal, D Sancho I. A guided tour of the main points of interest in the historic center of Arouca, such as the Monastery and its rich Sacred Art Museum, the Chapel of Mercy, Plaza Brandão de Vasconcelos and Calvary, offers visitors a journey to comprehend the medieval times, where, in the shadow of a monastery, a noble village was developed.

8. Drave, The Magical Village - Walking Guided Tour

Av. 25 de Abril 22A, 4540-118 Arouca, Portugal Just Come - Countryside & Adventure Tours

This tour starts in Regoufe. A remote village in the Arada montain range that during the two World Wars of the last century had a singular importance. From its subsoil, and from the mountains around it were extracted and exported tons of wolfram for the manufacturing of war material for Allied forces. The ruins and the stories of that time are there to be discovered... Going down the mountain, always with the beautiful valley of the Paivô river alongside us, the walk keeps on going until we see Drave. Surrounded by high hills, Drave is indeed a magical place. A mythical, uninhabited village, apparently lost on the Mountain, which can only be reached on foot, along this route. Crossed by the Palhais creek, it offers us dream scenarios that will stay in our memory for a long time. An incursion into the imaginary and history of the rural man of the past centuries.

Inclusions: Coffee and/or Tea, Snacks, Bottled water, All Fees and Taxes, Interpretative Guide along the walk, Photo Report, Personal Accident Insurance, Private transportation

Exclusions: Typical meal can be reserved under request., Pick-up and drop-off outside Arouca. We can provide it under request.

9. Walk with the Sheperd - Walking Guided Tour

Av. 25 de Abril 22A, 4540-118 Arouca, Portugal Just Come - Countryside & Adventure Tours

Starting from a picturesque shale village, in one of the deepest valleys of Serra da Arada, we observe the gathering of a community herd of over 600 goats, and then we walk with the Shepherd and his herding dogs up the mountain. The path we follow is magical. Alongside a stream of crystalline waters, through a forest of centenarian chestnut trees, we walk through a valley nestled between high and steep mountains, which gives us that good feeling of smallness towards this magnitude of Nature. Walking in the mountains will make us hungry. So, we stop next to one of the river waterfalls and make a picnic. From here, we return to the village to observe more closely the splendid biodiversity of this remote valley. This tour is an incursion into the nature and authenticity of rural and mountainous life.

Inclusions: Bottled water, Snacks, All Fees and Taxes, Photo Report, Personal Accident Insurance, Private transportation, Interpretative Guide
