9 Visitor Centers in Tel Aviv That You Shouldn't Miss

March 24, 2022 Toi Mattera

A youthful, modern metropolis with a diverse population, Tel Aviv dates back only to 1909. Clubs, bars, a thriving arts community, gay life and beaches attract artists, musicians and young professionals to Tel Aviv's more secular scene. Its UNESCO-designated Bauhaus architecture has won the city the moniker "The White City." Walk, drive or catch cabs between the cultural exhibition pavilions of Haaretz Museum, historic Independence Hall Museum, bustling Carmel Market and Old Jaffa's boardwalk.

So Tel Aviv souvenir shop

So... who are we? We are people with a vision. When most souvenir shops look the same, with the same items - we decided to do it different. The original souvenir shop : t-shirts, tote bags, hats, postcards with symbols of Tel Aviv and Israel. Pride souvenirs: rainbows bracelets, chains, flags, t-shirts. Graphic Design studio for custom souvenirs.

Sarona Visitor's Center

Founded in 1871 by German Templers, this unique site underwent amazing changes. Its residents were first appreciated for introducing advanced farming and manufacturing practices to the region; but later expelled for being Nazi subjects. Sarona transformed into a British military base, then the headquarters of both the Israeli Army and the Mossad – and finally, today this is one of Tel Aviv's most popular shopping and recreation sites. Tel Aviv- Yafo Municipality invites you to visit the Tourist Information Centers located in four of the most beautiful areas of the city - the Herbert Samuel Boardwalk, the Jaffa Clock Tower, Sarona and Rothschild Boulevard. Here you can collect your free city maps and information about Tel Aviv. The Tourist Information Centers provide useful information about interest points, tours, attractions and events around the city. We really enjoyed our visit around this area. It's packed with history from the earliest beginnings of Tel Aviv with the Templars, to really interesting information about the formation of the state of Israel. We didn't tie in with an official tour, but instead the guide from the ticket booth showed us round and was brilliant in bringing it all to life. We totally recommend this area and can't believe it isn't better known and listed in guide books.

Nahalat Benyamin Visitors Center

I love craft fairs and unique handmade items and seek out craft markets wherever I travel. The craft market at Nahalat Benyamin is one of the best I have been to. Lots of artists selling unique handmade items, everything from Judaica to jewelry, toys and home decor. This is by far the best place to buy your gifts and souvenirs to take home from your Israel vacation. The craft fair only happens on Tuesdays and Fridays, so try to time your visit to Tel Aviv on one of these days. Also Nahalat Benyamin is lined with good cafes and restaurants and is a fun place to sit outside with a good cup of coffee on a Friday morning and watch the people and the market in action. Will definitely make a point to come back during my next visit to Israel.

Last Saturday we appeared in Tel Aviv after a stay in Jerúsalen. We were tired, our Hostel did not open until later, we carried the backpack in tow. We had no expectations about Tel Aviv and many doubts about how to move in Sabbath, what trains we had to take, taxis ... We found the guide Hezki, and Thanks to his infinite patience as he informed us beautifully and opened the possibility of knowing Tel Aviv, a city that we loved. We are Catalan ... and that Hezki made an effort to speak our language made us feel very fortunate. Our most effusive and congratulations.
