This Private Tour can be taken any time of year but is especially good fun in winter when bush walks are a warming activity and rivers, waterfalls and creeks are running with fresh rains. Its also just a great place to sample some of the best local wines or just try some amazing food. August to October is also spring wildflower season and the incredible Araluen Tulip displays. The Darling Mountain Range, (locally called the Perth Hills), is a region approximately 30 minutes from Perth City. It parallels the coastline and has many attractions that can fill a day with activities. How many things you want to do is up to you so please contact me prior to booking to confirm your special plans OR simply let me show you some of the most beautiful natural bushland on Perths doorstep. The Bickley Valley is a particularly beautiful region full of fruit and wine orchards, cideries and great restaurants. In winter you can also see roadside displays of the golden wattle trees in full bloom.
Inclusions: Selection of fresh seasonal fruits, chocolates and snacks, Bottled water, Flexibility to choose from a lot of activities, Flexibility to choose where you want to eat
Exclusions: Lunch. There are many lunch stop options
I strongly recommend Perths Tiny tour / Peter. We did 2 tours with Peter: the pinnacles day tour and the Margaret river tour. For each tour, he picked us at our hotel and dropped us off at the end of the tour. The tours were well organized and we saw really nice things: the must sees like the Pinnacles but also more peculiar things like the gnomes'village. Peter was also a really informative guide telling us a lot about western Australia. FYI, we booked 2 tours with other companies and they cancelled last minute. Peter saved us and took us last minute on the Margaret river tour. Thank you Peter!

What an amazing tour. Wildflowers and orchids everywhere - managed to get shots that were sharp - even of the smallest thanks to Anna-Mair. Locations were awesome - no crowds even on a long weekend ( they sure know the best locations) . Pinnacles were amazing at the golden hour and we were treated to a spectacular sunset with the Pinnacles in the foreground. A bbq dinner was followed by Astro - I finally got a shot of the Milky Way! A truly great day. Can recommend this tour and Capture the Light highly enough. Anna- Mair is a fantastic teacher. She is patient, easy to learn from and has a great knowledge of photography . I use a Panasonic and my partner a Nikon but this was no problem as she clearly know the cameras well and how to get the best shots. Thank you for an amazing tour. Would recommend them to anyone visiting Western Australia
This private day tour is so local, even locals are surprised. And thats why its a local tour. A full day of fun and destinations you’ve never seen or have possibly only heard about in legend! For country regional visitors its a big day out with loads of choice. You'd never know Perth had so much to offer.. The itinerary listed here is a guide to the types of places I take you to and there are many more to choose from when we get started. Its a bit of a treasure hunt or a Magic Portal into Perths little known hidden gems. I have created six menus with over 100 choices of things to do and see, places to eat and drink and lots of obscure local stuff. Menu titles include: Natural Perth, Feed Me, Off The Beaten Track, I must have some Booze, The Big Sites and The Finest Wines available to Humanity. Deliberately quirky and obscure, with little known treasures included in this fun packed day thats guaranteed to lift the lid on this wonderful city and its surrounding regions.
Inclusions: Private transportation, Tour includes seasonal fresh fruit & cheeses, chilled water & chocolates
Exclusions: Tastings and Lunch are additional expenses
