The deep blue waters of the Cote d’Azur are the dramatic backdrop for elegant Nice. Breathe in the fresh Mediterranean air as you stroll the waterfront promenade, or get an eagle eye of the whole city from atop Castle Hill. The pedestrians-only Place Rossetti is the heart of the city, with a grand fountain, vibrant buildings, and the beautiful Sainte-Réparate cathedral giving it a provincial French feel.

Could not fault the service and the friendliness of staff. Thank you for making our stay so memorable. We will definitely be back. We had a great room on the fifth floor that looked over to the promenade and the sea. Even at dinner the staff were able to give us one of the front tables that overlooked the water making for a truly memorable night. Thanks to all the staff at the Hyatt Regency, great service all round.

Hôtel quite old. The room is very small, with poor view. It is also badly isolated from the noise. The breakfast is good with large choice of food. The staff was average. I asked a car for airport drop but they were not able to book. I had to do it by myself…

The hidden trasure of Nice, facing the Mediterranean Sea in a peaceful atmosphere, even if we are in the very center of the city
We have just spent another wonderful break at this incredible hotel. With splendid views along the Promenade des Anglais and across the Mediterranean La Perouse continues to provide a wonderful experience. Our room provided all the necessary comforts and was well maintained. The patio restaurant was outstanding: breakfasts and dinners were relaxing and very enjoyable experiences. All the staff in the hotel were cheerful and helpful but I should like to emphasise how the atmosphere created by all the people working in the restaurant greatly enhanced our experience. We look forward to our next visit.

The hotel is very nice located and it’s offers beautiful views over the Promenade. The room are nice, clean and the cleaning services is very good! The breakfast is nice and the food is good! The staff from the reception (especially Mr Catalin) is great! They provide us all the necessary informations and they were very kind in answering to all of our questions! (And more!!!) The distance from the hotel to the old town is around 4-5 km … By bus (the station it’s in front of the hotel) or by taxi (around 35 euro one way) . From the airport you can take the tram and the station is behind the hotel (very convenient - 1.5 euro/person compared to 40 euro if you choose to come by taxi). The pool situated on the top is relaxing. Nice hotel with great staff and beautiful views!

Facing the sea, at n°1 on the Promenade des Anglais, the hotel is located above the famous Ruhl Casino. In thevery heart of the city, you will enjoy Massena pedestriandistrict as well as the typical Old Nice. As far as practicalmatters are concerned, a car park with direct access islocated below the hotel (fee-paying service).
Overall we had a great experience. Staff were polite and helped out with phone adapters and a late check out. Room was big and had a lovely view of the sea. Was a bit tired in places but so what, you are on the promenade. The hotel also has a deal with a private beach that gives a discounted rate. Nice has been absolutely lovely.

One of Nice’s most «arty» hotels, the Beau Rivage is ideally located on the edge of the Old Town, a few stepsfrom the beach of the same name. Innumerable artists have stayed here since it was built back in 1860, among them Henri Matisse, its most famous resident, who spent several months here in 1917. More than 150 years after opening, the Hôtel Beau Rivage is today one of the Côte d’Azur’s most contemporary hotels as to design, styled with the pebble adopted as its emblem in mind. It offers 114 bedrooms and suites, some with private terraces, 190m² of meeting spaces,a welcoming modern cocktail and whisky bar, plus a 135m² patio, a veritable secret garden in the city centre. During your stay, take advantage of some of the amenities offered, including a 24 hour front desk, a concierge, and room service. For travelers arriving by car, parking is available. If you’re looking for something to do, Castle Hill (0.5 mi), Old Town (Vieille Ville) (1.1 mi), and Cathédrale Saint-Nicolas (1.0 mi) are a nice way to spend some time, and they are all within walking distance of Hotel Beau Rivage. The staff at Hotel Beau Rivage looks forward to serving you during your upcoming visit.
Currently at the Hotel as we speak amd service so far has been terrible when we have had to ask if our room has been ready several times after checking in early, once arrived before 3 and having new arrivals they seemed to have had there room amd not ours even though it was 3:30 by now, being a so called four star hotel it is not what is expected to be to have to keep asking for things, what type of service is this for customers. The room is extremely dark with some awful shutters, not even any tea/coffee facilities in the room, even asking for an iron is a difficult situation, why call it a four star hotel, I’ve stayed in a hotel which is a four star and been given this service it deserves.

The Hotel Suisse is ideally situated between sea and sky. Constructed along Italian-style architectural lines, it enjoys a unique location. For a stay in Nice on the French Riviera, enjoy the comfort of the various rooms and their stunning panorama. With their clean, stylish lines, the suite and the rooms ensure comfort and well-being and offer a breathtaking view of the Baie des Anges. First thing in the morning, enjoy a full buffet breakfast in our lounge. In some rooms you will be able to enjoy it on the terrace. Then, you'll be able to head out to the beach, which is only a few metres' walk away (preferential conditions on the private beach of our partner). Just minutes from the city centre, the hotel allows you to easily explore the charms of the historic centre of Nice or the port. Upon your return, share a moment of conviviality in the bar as you sip the cocktail of the day.
This was our fourth stay at this hotel. I can say that I find no faults with this hotel. The staff are helpful and extremely professional. The rooms are very comfortable and provide all amenities - tea, coffee, hairdryer, mini bar. The breakfast which is included is excellent with a large selection and the freshest pastries. The view of the Baie des Anges is gorgeous and you can hear the waves with the windows open. The rates are very reasonable. I have stayed in more expensive hotels which don’t come near the Hotel Suisse in all round excellence.

What a great view to go to sleep to and wake up to in the morning! The staff was helpful with places to eat and finding transportation. The room was clean and spacious. The height of the shower/tub was difficult for a 75 year old.

Tea and coffee maker, satellite LCD TV and pay TV, ADSL Wifi, direct phone, electronic safety box, minibar, pillow list; Restaurant "Chez Panisse" and cocktail bar, gym center.
We stayed here for 1 night in 2017 and chose this hotel for our 3 nights before our cruise. The location was perfect. We took the Line B tram from the airport to the Jean-Medecin stop. The hotel is about 100m/y west of the underground stop. Our cruise left from the last stop, 3 stops east of here, so it was very convenient! We arrived early, before 11h. Due to my status, they found us a room in about 30 minutes. We had been upgraded to a high level king but got a high level with 2 twin beds. It worked out just fine as the beds were almost double (full) size. The room had a desk, some chairs, a closet with safe, but I don't remember any drawers. There was shelf space so not a big issue. The bathroom had a nice tub plus sink, toilet, and bidet. The provided bathroom amenities were above average as well. Our view was only of the neighborhood. We were facing south, but there are so many taller building that I don't know if it's possible to have a water view. The room more than met our requirements, and we were very comfortable. The beds were just the right firmness, and it was quiet even though we were just across from the elevator. They have swapped locations for the check-in and the restaurant. Now, the check-in is in a brightly lit area with some seating. The restaurant is in the darker part of the ground floor with a bar all the way around the corner through the restaurant. Despite the sub-par breakfast, I am giving an overall 4 because they allowed us an early check-in and a late check-out on our cruise day. Breakfast was awful. They had scrambled eggs, sausage links ruined by tomato sauce, mushrooms, things British eat in the morning but Americans don't (baked beans, for example) plus rice and the first morning but not the last 2, decent bacon. When I asked for bacon, I got a non-caring response! It was the best thing on the buffet! Most of the hot dishes, especially the eggs, were lukewarm at best, unless you arrived just after they were restocked, since there were no heating devices under the trays. There were many pastries, but they just didn't seem fresh as one would expect in France. Day old, perhaps? There were 2 coffee stations so that worked. Bottled water was provided, and I drank at least one bottle a day. I had included the price of breakfast in my reservation, so I am not sure how much breakfast was, if not booked in advance. It did not include eggs made to order, which were extra! If we were to return, I would include breakfast again, but I would hope for warmer hot food, fresher pastries, and better service. With the new IHG status tier, some will earn free breakfast at all locations. I would be curious to know if this is going to include omelet and eggs made to order for those of such status. They will probably still be an upcharge. It's time to rethink your breakfast operation!
