We had booked this hotel + safari with them for our travel in May 2020 for ZAR 7000+ . Owing to pandemic , we weren’t able to travel. We have been following up for refund ever since. Candice , the GM of the hotel has not returned our calls( she’s doesn’t even answer our calls) , has not responded to our multiple emails( we have sent more than 10 follow ups ) of ours. The frond desk agent of the hotel yesterday - guided us to call Candice as she has the authority to refund. But she hasn’t returned the call, or responded to our email yet. I left a voice mail - still no response. This is absolutely not done. Hence rating them poor .. I will revoke this rating - once the refund is done. On cancellation - they are applying regular policy that existed in pre covid era. When every other hotel , airline has refunded 100% of our money due to covid. This is unacceptable!!!

As newbies to camping (hence opting for glamping), Africamps at Mackers was the ultimate experience . Everything from their tranquil location to their impressive tents made for a perfect bush vacation. The highlight of our visit was being escorted from the camp's entrance to our designated tent by the most polite host- a beautiful black and white dog ? he even kept us company on most days. This was a truly memorable experience, one we will definitely do again soon

Introducing the new Umbhaba Eco Lodge. Under new ownership and new management, Umbhaba is being completely renovated and will be reopening on the 1st of October 2019.
My daughter and I stayed here recently while taking in the daily safaris into Kruger National Park which is nearby. We loved our room and balcony. Very comfortable and great value for the price. We'd definitely stay here again if ever lucky enough to return. Great quiet location near two of the gates into Kruger.

We had a wonderful stay at this amazing guest lodge in Hazyview. The location is perfect as it is very central to all the main attractions as well as restaurants and places of interest. The owner, Margrit, is so warm and friendly and goes the extra mile to make her guests feel comfortable and exceptionally well taken care of. The rooms are delightfully furnished, very clean and well-maintained, spacious and with all the extras that one needs. Breakfasts are divine and served professionally each morning. Margrit bakes a different 'cake-of-the-day' each day which are available for guests as well as tea, coffee and refreshments. Well done to Margrit, Dudu and Eulanda as well as the groundsman for a superb job!
