Over hyped
Reviewed By 781sunnybWe spent one night on our way to Manuel Antonio at the hotel. We booked 2 rooms and thought we would receive the customary great service at Marriott for Platinum members, not so at all. Confused front desk told us that only one of us from each room can go to the Executive Lounge at a time for breakfast or the evening?? I questioned that so they relented and said we could go. I opted for the welcome gift basket instead of points, after an hour I called the front desk and they said, oh sorry! The property is Cononial and beautiful but not the service. Glad we’re not staying here on our way back.

Disappointing hotel
Reviewed By dlwaltMy family booked one night at the Country Inn before an early flight to Panama City. We were really disappointed in the hotel. While the room was a decent size, the bathroom was tiny and needs update. We waited for the shuttle last night for over 45 minutes and wound up jumping on the Doubletree shuttle and walked over. The Doubletree was $50 more, I should have spent the extra money.

Reviewed By Hodar1812Very friendly staff, nice grounds, rooms are basic and probably European 2 star. But reasonable enough. Hotel lacks the basics like Tea & Coffee in room, Reception is very basic and offers no chance to get change or overnight essentials. Meal was in the steakhouse that is part of the hotel, very disappointing good service but terrible steak. Breakfast however was fine.

Reviewed By vistaislitaI recently spent 3 weeks traveling in Costa Rica. I stayed at the Terrazas del Golf for a night on 3 separate occasions . . It is a family owned hotel that makes you feel right at home…only better. Truly 6 star service. The hotel is a beautiful elegant home situated on the golf course , with very spacious rooms and very comfortable beds and bedding. It is a must stop for any stay in San José. Prior to Covid breakfast is served on a veranda overlooking the golf course. The atmosphere is one of tranquillity and relaxation.

Reviewed By Cheritop1Pedro Bonilla was our waiter at Quattro. He was very personalable and friendly. He helped us order and converse in Spanish and was so patient and encouraging to the kids. He made our meal memorable. And the meal itself was Muy Rico!! Definitely try the tortilla soup!

Great place to spend a night near the airport
Reviewed By ugogrrlThe rooms are humongous...more like loft style condos than hotel rooms. Our room had two full baths with jacuzzi tubs. Full kitchen with utensils. The free breakfast is really good and the hotel has a free airport shuttle. Not a hip and trendy place but more than adequate for an airport hotel and the price was the best we found. Highly recommend. There is no restaurant at the hotel but there are many nearby and Uber was super cheap.

Reviewed By fxjamesGreat breakfast. Fair local currency exchange rate at the front desk that will save travellers time going to the bank for colones. Comfortable bar, with a nice menu that is perfect for a light dinner before retiring. I recommend the Sopa Azteca, Mexican tortilla soup. Shuttle service to all business parks. Red taxicabs ready to take you anywhere in the Capital. 10 minutes from the airport. Exercise room needs some updating.

Had all facilities - tv, internet,drinking water laundry, integrated kitchen, services, parking, cable, fibre optic network.bandwidth of internet was reasonable. Had good view in balcony. Stayed in corner flat near to main road but had good sound sleep during nights.
