Great stopover
Reviewed By rbasso316616Very convenient for a stopover. Amenities are good. We enjoyed the breakfast as part of the price and that breakfast was very good. A real bonus was that they accept pets and we traveled with our dog.

My guesthouse are situated 75 from Colesburg and 16km from Middelburg Eastern cape. There are 5ensuite rooms available. All of them have open view tv ,barfridge, and microwave. Wifi for free. Sherborne guesthouse are a 3 star graded. There are also a swimming pool . Come and enjoy it on the farm with lambs feeding if applicalble.

Reviewed By Greg BClose to the main road, so convenient accessing. Basic accommodation, but clean and neat and has all the basics covered. Electric blanket in winter was appreciated. Very friendly and responsive host. Good old fashioned comfort food served for dinner.

Reviewed By Thando9830The host was friendly, communicated well and very helpful especially since when I was there, there was no electricity in the whole of Middleburg but the service was still good. Rooms are very clean and the outside is beautiful.

Conveniently situated 10 km south of Middelburg in the Eastern Cape, midway between Johannesburg and Garden Route / Cape Coast and directly off the N9, Erin offers perfect en-route accommodation for a tranquil farm stay with wonderful vistas, champagne air, magical African sunsets, as well as star-studded night skies. Erin offers relaxed, unassuming and comfortable pet friendly accommodation in Middelburg, Cape. With five accommodation options, all the units have fans and heaters but not air-conditioning. All of these units are fully equipped for self catering. There are no televisions or radios in the rooms, so guests can have a break from the rat-race and unwind while appreciating the fresh air, space and serenity.
Clean, cosy and well equipped
Reviewed By H4433XKkatewPerfect spot for a few nights away from city life. We enjoyed a delightful stay in Meerkat cottage which was clean, cosy and well equipped. A beautiful setting and wonderful hosts. There is a fair amount to do in the area but it's also a lovely place to just relax and take in the mountain views and quiet meanderings of Karoo farm life. Hope to be back soon!

Stay over on way to Knysna
Reviewed By grsintntFriendly and helpful service and advice from Marieta. Very good breakfast at 7am before departure. Comfortable, clean and well appointed room. Once the external maintenance is complete it will improve the appearance. I had a quick swim in the small swimming pool after a long day driving.

Reviewed By joeheath1948Charming staff but hotel appears desolate and empty out of season. Why on earth don't they offer a 'special tonight' rate on the main road? Beautiful public rooms with gorgeous antique furniture. Food adequate but not inspiring; best point is the secure garage behind metal gates.
