Comfortable and welcoming with a very nice breakfast buffet
Reviewed By KJA3Just outside of the old part of Maussane-les-Alpilles, the Best Western Hotel Aurelia offers a pleasant communal space where the bar and breakfast buffet are located; a lovely garden; and a swimming pool. My room was large and comfortable, but despite the lovely grounds, my room was in a secure annex, and neither the view nor the decor were interesting. Staff were invariably attentive and helpful. The breakfast buffet held a very nice selection of hot and cold dishes, which one could enjoy in the pleasant communal area or in the lovely garden. Nice!

Reviewed By Frankvanbreeunfortunately sometimes you have to conclude that something isn't it anymore. we often spent a few nights here. always come back. the accommodation is very nice and it has been renovated so fine. beautiful garden, but that's where it ends. we stayed here on September 4 and 5. a weekend where the internet and therefore the TV was down. at the checkout, the owner responded if I was crazy. because she just had wifi. yes Monday. Also, our offer of breakfast included suddenly disappeared and there was no discussion about it. pay! ok you want to enjoy your holiday, so never mind. contrary to the info on the internet, where it says that you pay at the accommodation, a reservation is made on your cc on arrival. it will not be deducted from your bill. So you pay the full amount and until today, contrary to the owner's promise, the amount is still reserved on my CC. An email to the owner asking for an explanation is simply not answered. what have we done to deserve this rudeness? we will skip this hotel in the future and it gives a bad feeling. because we have so many memories here. i feel offended.

The town has a few Michelin restaurants and sometimes getting a table is not easy. Les Magnanarelles offers travelers an alternative to the more popular locales at a fair price, with excellent service and food.

Nous sommes les nouveaux propriétaires depuis le 1er Février 2022. L'hôtel "Castillon des Baux" est situé en Provence à Maussane-Les Alpilles, un petit village pittoresque du sud de la France, vous y trouverez une place ombragée, des cafés et un large éventail de restaurants à 5 minutes à pied de l'établissement. Perché sur un petit promontoire et en retrait de la rue principale du village. "Castillon des Baux" est un hôtel familial où l'on apprécie la douceur de vivre face aux Alpilles. Le jardin provençal est planté d'oliviers, la piscine est entourée d'un patio avec transats où vous pourrez profiter du soleil de Provence dans une ambiance calme et tranquille, à l'abri du Mistral.

The most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed at
Reviewed By DM45ESSAbsolutely stunning hotel. The care taken on the design and interiors is frankly indescribable. The interior has the most stunning antiques as well as chic furniture. what makes it so special is that it is not over decorated, the beauty is in the simplicity. The gardens are also wonderful. It has about 30 rooms but it feels much smaller and cosier. There are two small pools which were great to swim in. The hotel serves breakfast only. It is a 5 minute walk into the village with lots of food offerings. Great location if you want to explore the area, especially close to St Remy de Provence, the Carmage and Arles. Service was incredibly friendly and so warm. The owner Brigitte was there during our stay and was so lovely and giving us wonderful advice. There was also a gentleman who was doing gardening and repairs who was very nice and helpful. We will definitely visit again.

Excellent oasis close to the town centre
Reviewed By SusieQteStayed here for 8 nights whilst exploring Provence. The room was comfortable and spacious with a lovely outside terrace with direct access to the swimming pool. The owners were extremely hospitable and always on hand to answer questions or give advice. The location was superb, as it was a 2 minute walk to the town centre with a choice of restaurants and bars. I would definitely recommend this hotel as a place to stay.

Reviewed By Clarice1960We thoroughly enjoyed our stay albeit one night. Isabelle and Bruno are great hosts, welcoming and attentive making our stay hassle free. The room functioned well and the breakfast was great especially the home made jams. Mas des Marguerite provides a great base for exploring the area and we plan to return next year in order to do just that!
