Reviewed By joannakV583AMWe really enjoyed our stay. The hotel was clean and comfortable with great, quirky decor. The proprietors were really kind and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The location was beautiful and really convenient for downhill skiing in the season. We enjoyed cross country skiing 5 minutes drive away. Lots of things to love to about the Jura region

Fantastic hotel with extraordinarily good food
Reviewed By B8406FOmatthewsWith warm and generous hosts, nice rooms, and an amazing restaurant, this hotel is really fantastic as a place to stay in Les Rousses. Even though we were unlucky with rain and everyone was having to be careful because of COVID, staying here made for a wonderful family holiday. The demi-pensione is a really good deal because of the quality of the cooking, and choices you have on the dinner menu as a hotel guest include all the very best Jura specialities, including awesome Raclette, Fondu, and chicken with morels. Such a great place!

Reviewed By brad eEvery year we come back to treat us to a weekend in this beautiful family hotel. This time we brought our family from Australia to make them experience french conviviality, french food and this absolutely beautiful and cosy atmosphere In the hotel. We all found that the food was once again absolutely outstanding, everything is home made. We also loved the little bar corner with view to the snowy mountains. The rooms are renovated, spacious and the beds are comfortable. But what made our stay so special was the welcoming and friendly host, Veronique. We absolutely loved it and are already looking forward to next winter!

Reviewed By chitz09I did not visit this hotel but nevertheless I had not a good impression. I made a wrong booking and told them 10 days before the date of the booking. They showed no mercy and charged me the whole fee. Be careful with bookings at this place!

Reviewed By JulieEO50a very comfortable stay in a very friendly self-catering guest house. 3 Double rooms with shared kitchen downstairs, and most of the other 80 or so people in apartments of various sizes with hobs in small kitchen; everyone shared the oven in the kitchen, adjacent to the games room (pool, table tennis), swimming pool, children's play room and TV room. Optional evening activities e.g. table tennis, raclette, bingo. More ambiance if you can speak a little French - - we were the only two English people with 84 French. Very good value for money. 1 km outside Les Rousses, 1 km for the Swiss border village of La Cure (train from Geneva via Nyon). A lovely area for cross country skiing, summer mountain activities, cheese, gourmet Jura food, and interesting fort at Les Rousses.

Good value, Close to centre, Nice pool

Located 10 minutes walk from the town centre, overlooking the vast marsh that leads to the Lac des Rousses. Good parking available. Easy driving around town. Made an August booking at the last minute. Got a 'quad' room for my family of three. There were two twin beds on the lower level, and up some very steep steps in a loft was a double bed. The temperature difference in the summer was stunning between the two levels, even with all windows open on a chilly night, following a warm day. Sweating upstairs, freezing downstairs. Nice indoor heated swimming pool was a hit. Sauna and steam really good. Jacuzzi incorporated in the pool was not hot and minimal pressure, but could still possibly give some relief after a day of skiing or hiking. WiFi on offer was SFR, or FON, but I couldn't get my supposedly FON-compatible BT internet credentials to be accepted, and I wasn't prepared to pay for WiFi.
