Reviewed By lizzieipswichGood value for money. No frills but clean and comfortable hotel just outside of Granada City. Ideal for city and mountains and ski slopes. Continental style breakfast but plenty of it. Lovely views over city and valley. Recommended if you are happy to just have a nice friendly basic stay

Reviewed By KtloubevanWhat a fabulous weekend! The location was stunning with spectacular views from both the pool area and our room (the suite). The hotel had such a relaxing, friendly feeling, with the dogs (which were very well trained) adding to this. The staff were all lovely and extremely helpful if you needed anything. The food was delicious and all homemade, and the sunsets were magical. Will definitely be recommending this hotel to anyone visiting Granada!

Reviewed By alansokStayed 4 nights. The pitches are small but that is common in Spain and we were happy with our space - enough to set up table and chairs outside. Toilets were clean and the showers were one of the best we had on our trip. We ate twice at the restaurant - one very good experience and one not so good but maybe we chose the wrong food! Lots of restaurants and shops a short walk up the hill from the campsite in La Zubia. Bus stop outside every 30 minutes into Granada centre. Would stay again.

Reviewed By josemanuelf999Feel like at your own home. Enjoy the peaceful quietness of the west side of Granada Mountains. Only 15 minutes away from the City Center of Granada you will be able to rest in the Cute gardens and swimming pool that this resort provides. The owners are always aware of your needs but never intrusive. we have been twice and the atmosphere and clients were selected. If you have your own car is a great and different option which you'll never regret.

The charming Country Resort Cortijo Balzaín is situated in the Sierra Nevada National Park (Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO), in the heart of the mountains and at just 8 km from Granada city, 30 km. to the ski resort and 45 km. to the beaches of the Costa Tropical. This Cortijo from XVII century, has been restored acting with the greatest respect to the rustic elements of its former structure, enhancing the character and beauty of these houses. Free parking & short drive to the airport (approx 30-45 mins). Local town of La Zubia is approx 5 mins drive away. 15 min drive from Nevada shopping which has plenty of shopping & food outlets. 30 mins drive away from Granada central & more touristy part of town. Very friendly staff.

Reviewed By mundero77mobiliario muy anticuado....bastante impersonal... y además la relación calidad precio es pésima porque no ofrece servicios y pretende equipararse a establecimientos con calidades superiores Luego otra cosa a tener en cuenta es que no ofrece desayunos que es de vital importancia pues tuve que irme a una cafetería que se llamaba mavi que me atendieron genial pero me pillaba a varios kilómetros .... vamos que no vuelvo

Peaceful with great views
Reviewed By Adam DI stayed here with my son on a road trip round Andalucia. The bed was comfortable with a nice bathroom. Guests also had use of a kitchen and sitting room cum dining room as well as the terrace outside. The view of Granada was impressive, and the Sierra Nevada rose impressively behind the property. It was a good base for exploring Granada as you could be in the city in a quarter of an hour. The proprietor was very helpfu and the breakfast was very good - cereal, toast, fruit, meat cheese, jam, cakes.
