Nice Hotel but problems
Reviewed By PeterDG1951We stayed at Four Points for 3 nights while we visited Seattle. Hotel was nice, and fairly new. The location was out of the way, and shuttle service was underwhelming. The van was old, in bad shape, and undersized. It really needs to be replaced with 2 larger,, handicap usable, vans. On-site restaurant was OK, with a limited menu, buffet breakfast was good. The coffee in the rooms was very good. Overall the place was nice but out of the way, and understaffed.

Reviewed By Anita MDon’t Ever Use this business. We paid ($300) for secure parking while we were away and returned to our whole back window broken out. Attendant on duty handed my husband the car keys and said “we accept no responsibility, get in your car and drive away.” They say they check their “secure” lot ever 30 min but in reality the GM who we spoke to the next day had no idea what had occurred nor did she care. The back of the car was soaked thru so it had probably been vandalized for quite awhile and they never knew or cared. “We take no responsibility” seems to be their only reply. How can a business not have basic liability insurance. They are cheaper for a reason. Beware of their scam business. Don’t use this lot located at 22246 Pacific Hwy S, Des Moines, WA.

They gave away my room!
Reviewed By rdleifriafI booked a room through Expedia a month in advance. The night I was going to check in, I called at 11pm to ask if it'd be okay if I check in to the room at 2am and was told no problem. So I show up and the lady behind the desk was incredibly rude and unapologetic about the fact that THEY GAVE AWAY MY ROOM! Everywhere else around was full, so I just ended up driving four hours all through the night until I made it home. Couldn't they have at least called and asked before giving away my room? Just ridiculous. I will never stay at a Red Lion again.

No no-smoking rooms
Reviewed By jimtY7238HVI got a no-smoking room but it smelled like a smoking room. The whole motel smelled of smoke. The TV didn't work and the internet was very slow. Since the TV didn't work, I tried to watch a show on my phone because it kept pausing every minute or so buffering. The Kleenex dispenser didn't have any Kleenex in it and when I opened it there wasn't even an empty Kleenex box in the dispenser. The pillow case had a few small stains on it. It should be tossed. The listing shows that they offer breakfast, but there wasn't any breakfast. I did ask them about breakfast when I checked and they told me they didn't offer breakfast. To be fair, I didn't ask them to fix the TV, or for a box of Kleenex, or for a new pillow case, or to do something about the internet. My bathroom was clean, the mattress was comfortable, and I did get a good night sleep, but I was very tired and I had had a few glasses of wine. It seems to be being run by 3 generations of a family and they seem to be struggling. I feel bad giving them a poor review, but they do need to improve their service if they expect to stay in business.
