I had not been informed when I made the reservation. This year, the exact same thing! I was not told that there would be construction and the pool was unavailable. I was not informed when I made the reservations and was not offered any compensation.

Reviewed By Atomic-StyleOur family was in town for a wedding this past weekend and needed a hotel. We were very pleased with our stay here. Our room was very clean and everything worked as it should. The beds were comfortable and the sheets smelled fresh and clean. We enjoyed the large rooms and the full refrigerator, sink, dishwasher and microwave definitely made the stay easier. The manager was more than gracious and friendly when we asked to stay past check-out on Sunday due to our flight be cancelled and rescheduled for later. She was so friendly and understanding and I really want to recommend her hotel just for their service alone! Thank you for a great stay!

The Reviews Below Make a Good Start. I Should've Trusted Them!
Reviewed By Robert F BThis is an older place that needs a foundation-up remodeling. It is an older place that has been repainted. Not remodeled! First, the good: The check-in clerk was friendly. The bed was comfortable. The HVAC was up to the challenge of a below-40F night. The breakfas was adequate. Second, the bad: They must hate Choice Privleges members as the "reserved Parking" for the top three tiers of membership was by a locked door next to the pool. (Key Card wouldn't unlock it. Had to walk around to the front lobby anyways. Room was poorly furnished with only one bedside lamp. (See photo) Clerk at checkout was not friendly or courteous. The desk chair is too low for the desk and doesn't adjust. Third, the ugly. Is there a better way to describe inaccurate -or even false- advertising? See the photo of the webpage for this hotel. It shows a "2-Person Hot Tub" as equal to all the other amenities. Please see the attached photo of the tub in my room. Fourth, the dangerous. There are installations for security lights in thy very dark rear parking lot. However, not all of the lights work. And, some of the car parking ares are a hike to the nearest entrance. Not an ideal situation at night. Summation: I'm getting ready to take a cross-country trip soon. Based on this and other recent experiences, Choice Hotels has slipped from the top of my list. (And, I'm a Platinum level Choice Privileges member...) This place has a bright future as a Kights Inn or an "America's Best Value Inn".

Reviewed By 16lisanWe were driving through on I70 and had checked at a couple HEI’s before so by the time we got here, we were pretty desperate! First of all, Nicole was super helpful and nice so check-in was great. We got one of the last rooms so beggars can’t be choosers. We usually stick with HEI because they are reasonably priced and usually clean. The price is reasonable there but it’s bad need of renovation. There were no USB plugs and the bathroom was in poor condition and the tub very dirty. The bedspreads were mismatched, one of the washcloths was so dingy I took a pic. The soap and shampoo bottles were empty. So in summary, we were happy to get a room but we are also glad it’s just one night!

Took checking 5 rooms before finding one that was half way decently cleaned but had roaches. First one had feces on toilet and up side of tub, went to desk to complain and she had someone go check the room she was going to put us in and she said all was ok and she even left the lights on (to make roaches hide but didnt say that) went into room and sweeper was not run toilet seat was cracked in half. The laundry room door was always left open and very noisy so I shut it happened to be standing there when it was opened by employee and the floor ACTUALLY MOVED. No WIFI Will never stay there again. With covid I really was surprised how DIRTY this place was.

Les équipements fonctionnaient correctement. Vraiment un hôtel "d'étape" pour une nuit. Comme beaucoup d'hôtel de ce genre, vieux et à rénover.
