The state of Arizona is one that features a fantastic diversity of landscapes and areas of geological interest. North Arizona is famous for the Grand Canyon, a colorful chasm with steep rocky walls more than a mile deep and stretching some 277 miles alongside the Colorado River. Other notable destinations in North Arizona include Flagstaff set alongside the San Francisco Peaks which has the largest ponderosa pine forest, Museum of Northern Arizona, and is close to a number of national parks and monuments. On the south side of Arizona lies the city of Phoenix, the largest in Arizona. Notable day trips in Phoenix include the Heard Museum which is one of America's largest collections of Native American art, Phoenix Museum of History, as well as the Desert Botanical garden which has a great collection of desert plants.

Pictures are deceiving. Cabins are attached. Not worth a hundred dollars a night. There is no customer service and no office. Just lots of emails. Bring your own coffee. Parking is very tight. Over two miles to downtown Prescott. There may be permanent residents.

In reality its in much better condition then in pictures. I spent total of 7 nights. Great parking space. Excellent heating. The only thing i would improve is the water pressure in the shower. I totally recommend.

Quailway Cottage is nestled midway between the Peloncillo Mountains in southwestern New Mexico and the Chiricahua Mountains in southeastern Arizona. It's a desert haven for a variety of birds and wildlife & offers amazing star-gazing.
My birding friends and I stayed here for 3 nights in early May. Fantastic place!! Lots of amenities (Keurig with coffee and supplies, soap/shampoo, blowdryer, washer/dryer), comfy beds, kitchen, wood stove, and amazing wildlife on the back porch!! The owners were very nice but not intrusive. I would recommend Quailway Cottage to anyone who is looking for a quiet, clean place to enjoy nature.

My husband, two sons 23, and 25, and I stayed in one of the Cottages and just loved it. The manager was so kind and pleasant. I had an accident and got blood on her towel. I took it right up to the office so she could get to work on it. I liked the ability to cook; they had everything I needed. My only suggestion is to do more on the landscaping. That is mainly because I am a plant person!

We were looking for a quiet weekend escape (from the hustle bustle of Phoenix) and this place turned out great. It's five minutes from Patagonia (with restaurants and shops) but all by itself on a ranch. With burros. My wife and i stayed two nights in the Firefly cottage and it was great. It had a very comfortable bed, a large sitting room and dining area with a full kitchen. It comes with coffee (grounds), muffins, and all your basic kitchen ware. We used it as a base for wine tasting in Sonoita and Elgin, a trip to Patagonia Lake State Park, etc. It was also large enough (compared to a motel room) to just hang out, maybe read, or do a little painting (one of my hobbies). Regina Medley has decorated the cottages with an artists touch, and the place is chanrmgin and colorful. Perhaps the only downside is that the conversion of this building from a garage or studio resulted in an arrangement with the bathroom being in the same room as the bedroom with only some furniture and portable partitions to separate the areas. Its not a big deal but some folks with severe privacy needs may find it less than ideal. Still, for the rate charged this is a great value and I'd come here again.

The amenities are nice, the ranch is beautiful, and the manager is kind and caring. The horses and animals on the ranch add to the experience. You will not be able to stop staring at the breathtaking views.

33 Cabins on 25 acres and a 12 acre private lake which is stocked 4 times a year. A great resort for the whole family.
My family and I stayed 4 nights 5 days in the Chalet. It was kinda warm when we arrived and the cabins are not equipped with ac, understandably, but the cabin cooled off once the sun went down. When I booked online , I could not find any pictures of what the house looked like from the back area, so I'm posting pictures for other people wanting to rent this house. It is spacious and nice for a large group. We had my wife and older kids and 2 daughter in laws and 3 grandkids and we were extremely comfortable. The house has many stairs to enter the house. Only the 2 bedrooms and downstairs living rooms are accessible without climbing stairs but the kitchen is only accessible by climbing stairs. Not a big issue unless you have bad knees, which I do but still doable. I would have given 5 stars except the wifi was not working consistently and we have teens and pre-teens who rely on that to stay in touch with friends. Also, I could not get a good cellular connection (Tmobile) so even trying to find store and restaurants was a challenge. Melody the manager( I assume)was very nice when I told her we were having issues and had it working by the next day although still in and out. There are some people who leave reviews stating that the cabins are run-down, I find them quaint and rustic. This is not the Hilton it is cabins off of a lake and it is what it is . Altogether, we had a great stay and will be back again. Hopefully, the pictures of the deck and the view from the back help people decide whether they want to stay in this cabin / house.

We were a party of 6 so booked both cottages & cooked breakfast in the larger of the two. Bill & his wife were very helpful & allowed us to pay on arrival as we could not sort this out over the internet. Here for birding so the feeders & water features around the property were fantastic. We ate at the restuarant down towards Stateline Road but beware of the time diference between New Mexico & Arizona!! Also fuel up ahead of Rodeo/Portal as nearest gas station is a 40 mile round trip. Have now stayed at Portal three times but wished I had stayed here on previous two.
