The location is opposite the train station so it’s very convenient if you plan to make day trips and take trains to different parts of switzerland. There is a large grocery store next to the hotel as well. The staff was also very friendly. I would stay here again

We stayed in Monch 1 which is a downstairs 1 bedroom unit. Check in is at the Hotel Wengerhof next door. Front desk person there was very nice and helpful, holding our luggage until the room was ready and then delivering it for,us. Place is basically a small cozy apt. Access to laundry downstairs which is shared with other units in the building, you get a power key and soap for 10 francs from the hotel. This was a great benefit. The balcony/deck is good for two, but the view has probably diminished over the years as the plantings across the street have grown. Very limited mt. view but there is some. Plantings at the chalet are nice. Decor inside reminded us both of vintage 70s. Browns and oranges. Bed was not good at all for either of us. It is actually two separate twins that don’t have a joining mattress. VERY low to the ground. I like a hard mattress but this was like a college futon almost. So bad sleeping for both of us. Very much liked having this style of room vs a hotel room with limited space. Fridge and kitchen area are good to store drinks and leftovers from restaurant meals. Be aware the bathroom shower is tub style, with a high step in. Surprisingly did not like their bathroom soap choices. Can’t say that I have ever even thought to mention that, but just didn’t like the smell of them.

A great hotel with great view of the mountains. Next to it is a farm with goats that you can hear the ringing of the bell on their necks. Very lovely. The room is roomy and very comfortable. It is easily accessible by train and close to markets to get the necessities. Strongly recommended.

We stayed here on 16 -17 February 2020. A two-bedroom apartment for 4 of us. Great quiet location close enough to downtown and Interlaken West OST. Main bedroom is big with dining table. But the mattress and pillows are a bit rundown and should be replaced. A complete kitchen and cookery set. Luca at the reception is very helpful and friendly. And they have parking on-site.

There were many good things about the apartment but there were also many things that could be improved. I’ll start with the good: 1. The apartment is literally steps from Interlaken West train station, 3-5 minute walk tops. It is not far to walk to Interlaken Ost station either, about 15 minutes. There are more connections from Interlaken Ost. 2. Plenty of shops nearby including Migros and Denner. Be aware that most shops are closed on Sundays in Switzerland but there is a small shop at the station open during normal hours. 3. Kitchen is equipped with most things you need: oven/stove, pots/pans, plates, cups, etc. there was a drip coffee pot but no kettle so you’ll have to boil water in a pan if you drink tea. 4. Plenty of towels provided. 5. Good view from the balcony. Things that could be improved: Overall the place was a bit worn and could do with a refresh. Appliances were old and plugs were not where you would expect them to be. Removing the old broken drawers and tidying up the balcony would go a long way. There was a bathroom literally through the kitchen which was awkward. There were broken lights that were not fixed during our stay. It was a good value for the price we paid. Don’t expect luxury it’s a very basic dated apartment.

Beautiful Swiss Cottage. You get that feeling as soon as u enter the cottage. it is equipped with almost everything. utensils, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, stove. The apartment has a small balcony eith a stunning view. its very neat n clean. The only thing that we did not liked was u need to psy for the towels. they dont provide towels with the room. So either get ur towel or be ready to pay. Plus they have a cleaning charges of 100 francs.

I requested tripadvisor to add this property as I couldn't find any when searching. At the time, I relied on booking or agoda website reviews. I feel more comfortable writing a review anonymously. There are two chalet apartments available -- wetterhorn and graben. We stayed at the wetterhorn apartment, which includes a double bed and a sofa bed. There is no reception and operated like the airbnb style. The host/leasing agent, Sofia, met us at the check in time. She was very responsive to our emails and quick too. This is a self service apartment. Other than the hand liquid soap in the bathroom, nothing else was provided during our stay. We were a bit surprised about that but this could be Swiss standard for such accommodation. Also, it would be nice to provide a few coffee pods and tea bags. We didn't necessary need it but such hospitality can go a long way. People should be aware that it isn't exactly a bedroom. There is no proper door. Two cabinets forms a natural door way and used as dividers to form a bedroom. It is small and with a double bed in there. In any case, it was an apartment that adequate for 3 of us. The above points are fact and it didn't really bother us. Of course, like everyone else said in other reviews, the view from the balcony is amazing. I wish to stay there a bit longer to enjoy that view. As for location, it isn't exactly in the central of town but within walking distance. there are several closer restaurants. I would say that it is convenient. It is reasonable priced for what it has to offer. Another thing....i notice that there is no heater in this apartment so i don't know how people deal with the cold in winter.
