With its postcard-worthy backdrop of golden sands, forested mountains, and miles of azure ocean, it’s no surprise that Fethiye is among the most-visited cruise ports on Turkey’s Turquoise Coast. The town itself is equally attractive, with leafy seafront promenades, lively bazaars, and ancient ruins.

Wow, where to start? We booked the olive Garden for a Saturday night in June during a 12 night stay at nearby Olu Deniz. The Olive garden came highly recommended and it did not fall short of the expectations we had. We booked one of the new suites which was approx £102 per night with breakfast included. It is based in Kabak and easily reached by either bus (approx 13 lira per person per way, taxi 200 lira per way). The bus stops at the top of the bank (not for the faint hearted but a budget option and easy enough). The roads are a little windy, views are amazing on the way up and more than safe. We arrived early to make the most of our day, we opted for the double hanging cushioned loungers which had the most amazing views. The Infinity pool is warm and welcoming and we spend the full Time In pure awe of the amazing views below. Picture postcard and breath taking!. We had both lunch and evening meal there and both meals were beautiful, cocktails a good standard and drinks prices pretty similar to most bars and restaurants approx £84 for lunch and dinner, all day drinks and cocktails for 2 adults. The walk to the room again the views amazing, not for the faint hearted in the dark but the room is just out of this world. Quirky decor, spotlessly clean, sliding windows, the biggest jacuzzi (be aware this takes quite a while to fill so allow some time). There is a mini bar in the room and prices are the same as the bar ideal for those who are happy to stay in the room. The bed was so big and comfortable. Bathroom came with shampoo and shower gel and towels. Air con was brilliant and kept the room cool when required. Dressing table and plenty of wardrobe space for those spending longer time there. The service from all staff was fantastic all polite and friendly and couldn't do enough to help. One night In paradise for sure! I would recommend getting there earlier then Check in to make the most of your day cause before we even finished our breakfast people were arriving for the day. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, traditional Turkish with a choice of how you would like your eggs, delightful! A fantastic, relaxed stay and could not recommend this place enough!!.

Chakra Beach Kabak is a bungalow resort located in Kabak 100m from Kabak beach. Our unique bungalow accommodations are equiped with a double bed, shower and toilet. Our chalets are equipped with a double or two single beds with a shared shower unit. We have an extensive a-la-carte menu from our kitchen and bar serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Prices include buffet breakfast and dinner.
My boyfriend an I booked one of those round bungalows for 5 nights and wished we would have stayed longer. Surrounding Chakra beach is located at a beautiful bay, surrounded by many many mountains and trees. all day long you can hear chirping whims which makes you feel like youre in jungle. Chakra beach is the perfect escape for everyone who needs to take time from cars, loud citys, TV's, Media-the everyday stress. There are also a few waterfalls in the area which you can visit when you take a 1 hour walk. Another amazing thing is the night sky, the later it is the more stars appear and you can even see the milky way, I have never seen something like that before ! Rooms Those round bungalows are simple but so beautiful. a brick wall devides the sleeping area from the shower and toilet. we always had hot water in our shower and theres also a clima inside. Food Breakfast and lunch is served everyday and everything is freshly prepared. if you get hungry during the day you can always buy something in the supermarket which offers many different things and the prices are pretty much like in a supermarket in the city- even though its not easy for the vans to go down to chakra beach! Theres also an amazing chef one minute to walk to-he offers you amazing food and i really recommend visiting him!!! Staff The staff is very caring, polite and they just want everyone to enjoy themselves and have a good time. Everyone we met made us feel very comfortable. When there was time the guy Ozan sat with us in the evenings and we all played games like uno or jenga together. Just like we knew each other for years although we were all strangers. I've never met people like them before, so caring and lovely. You can also talk to Ozan whenever you want to go paragliding, have a boat trip and so on. Summary Chakra Beach is a place where you can calm down, relax and have a really good time. Being in nature, surrounded by this amazing stuff, cats, chicken, beautiful mountains and the wonderful beach shows you that its the simple things in life that reall matter and that you dont need much to feel good and be happy. Thank you for that, we will definitely come back!

I booked this a few weeks in advance for NYE with my partner. I was so excited and had rented a car just to be able to make the 2 hour car journey to this place. I kept checking the Instagram in anticipation as they were sharing things regarding NYE. I had paid double the usual winter price since it was NYE but in my mind it would be worth it to chill out and have some nice food. I also paid extra to have a “ suite” I was chased for payment as they said was only one suite left so I quickly sent over the money. On arrival a man came to show us to our dome, he asked if we’d already paid (odd) and asked us for our HES code to abide with covid health rules. The first thing we noticed was the soaking damp air in the dome but where reassured once we open the Aircon this will return to normal, the floors where soaking wet and our clothes where instantly soaked with how damp the air was. We also realised the “hot tub” was in a building site. We then asked about the restaurant which was advertised to be told it was closed however we could climb the hill to another restaurant which was open, so we did, this was also closed however they set the table up and served us. When we got back to the dome I opened up the bed, to see it had already been used, slept in and loads of long black hairs (I’m blonde), under the bed was filthy as well with loads of beer tops! I also went to the toilet to find long black hairs in there too and soaking wet floors. The bed was the worse thing for me as I can only imagine bed bugs, peoples skin etc, the covers where disgusting and a random duvet with no cover was provided ? the cheek to ask for a HES code but provide a dirty, filthy, health risk of a room to stay in! The kettle provided was also disgusting with limescale floating around, and 2 huge bugs in the coffee tray, when we asked for a new one we where told it’s normal?? The light was constantly flickering all night as well which was so annoying!! Had it not be pitch black by the time we encountered these things as we arrived late, we would have left but we decided for our own safety to stick it out as the drive back is quite dangerous. It was honestly horrid I slept with my clothes on and my own towels on the bed and as a cover, I was up every hour with pure stress of my skin possibly touching the bed, I was constantly scratching and still am 3 days later. I messaged the Instagram page to explain the situation as that’s where I paid and no staff where around, to be told sorry and they’ll refund if we want to leave in the morning. So that morning we got ready and tried to locate someone to give back the key, and explained why we where leaving early. I explained to the manager on Instagram that really we should be refunded more than the one night considering the state of the place (photos to follow) and how they cannot even provide a clean bed and we didn’t get to use the “breakfast” that was included in the price. To be sold “we said sorry, I’m sad I’ve also lost money from u leaving early, writing more will not gain you any money back, and lastly maybe you should come clean it, it’s winter what do you expect” Yes it’s winter however if you cannot provide a clean bed sheet for customers, you should not be open never mind charging double the winter rate (3,500tl) I could have stayed in a 5 star hotel for that in Antalya. I’m so disappointed as I really needed the break and tbh this has brought me more stress than I had before, I’ve literally put money in the bin for this trip and I’m terrified about bringing bed bugs into my own house here. I’ve had to put my clothes onto balcony for them to be disinfected and washed at 60°. The owner has refunded me for one night 1750tl after me hounding them. So I’ve lost 1750tl on staying that one night, which I can truly say was worth no more than 200tl at most, even then I think that’s being overly kind. AVOID!!! Perhaps check out the other place up the road “kabak domes” as they look far superior but again who knows as it seems Instagram doesn’t reflect the true situation of these hotels.

Reflections Camp that is located in Kabak Valley is one of the oldest camps in the valley. We are superbly located at least 100 meters away from the cluster of other camps with amazing views of both the sea and towering mountains. Reflections is just a seven minute walk from the beach through Kabak Valley’s olive groves, amidst a forest abundant with Red Pines, Carob and Manzanita trees, patches of thyme, lilac and wild flowers. Reflections Camp distinguishes itself by its blending of nature and diy architecture, individual artistic creations, earthbag houses, laid-back ambiance and a cordial team. The atmosphere at the camp is welcoming, friendly and intimate
This is a hostel, where you have a great view to the sea and mountains. A great view, by everything you do; while eating breakfast, having a shower and going to the toilet (except for when you close the curtain). It's a magical place! We were welcomed professionally; they asked where we've been the last weeks and if we have corona phenomena. All the days we stayed, the staff stayed available for all kinds of questions, and answered always friendly and helpfull. We stayed in a cabin for a few days, what has everything you need; a bed with mosquito net, you stay in touch with nature, lovely. The shared showers and toilets are clean. The hostel in his total breaths a very nice atmosphere with the relax corners with pilows, unther clothes, where is shadow, and made with all kinds of recycled materials. For the ones who prefer an own bathroom and toilet; you can stay in a small house. The food is amazing in this place; breakfast as well as dinner. Always possibility's for vegetarian dishes.

This glamping spot is seriously underrated! Absolutely gorgeous domes with all the facilities you'd want, in a beautiful spot. We saw the most beautiful sunset and got to practice yoga on the deck in the evening, with the stars above us. I only wish we had booked to stay more than one day so I could've had more time to use to bathtub, hammock etc.!

Sultan camp is located in the heart of Kabak valley, one of the hidden gems of the Turkish coast. It lies along the beautiful Lycian way whıch meanders along the coast from Fethıye to Antalya. The camp is located just 5 mınutes walk from Kabak beach with stunning views of the coast and the surroundıng valley. It has a choice of bungalows with and without toilets and showers, or tents which can be provıded or you can bing your own. All our prices ınclude a delicious breakfast and dinner, of which most of the ingredients are grown here on the camp in our vegetable garden. There are also many places to chill out and relax in around the camps, from a hammock by the plunge pool to watching the clear night sky on our roof terrace whilst sipping one of our Sultan cocktails from the wooden shack bar. It's the perfect place to lose yourself in the beauty of the valley and natural life.
We spent three days in Sultan camp with my partner. We did our research before our trip and read multiple (mostly positive) reviews, but I wish some circumstances were mentioned. First of all, the accessibility of the camp is far from ideal. We couldn't reach the camp by car due to poor road conditions and instead parked it in a parking lot 15 mins away (by car) from the camp. Parking fee is 10 lira per day. We reached the camp by a shuttle bus (fee is 60 lira divided by number of passengers, there can be 10 of them maximum). On the day of our departure, we had to wait almost an hour to get on a shuttle because there were too many people waiting or pre-booking the shuttle for their group. It's worth noting that the journey from the camp to the beach takes 5-7 minutes and the road is the most rocky and dusty road I've ever seen (and I lived in a village). It's definitely not appropriate for families with young kids, elderly or anybody with knee problems. Secondly, we were surprised by the lack of comfort in the camp itself. We stayed in a bungalow with a private shower and toilet. The bungalow looked cute in the pictures and we didn't mind its simplicity. Worse than no hot water and curious ants that were everywhere, was the fact that the bungalow provided no heat protection at all. As soon as the sun rose in the morning until the late evening, it turned into a Finnish sauna. Relaxing there or taking a nap was impossible during the day. The other option for daytime chill was a shady area which also functioned as eating area during breakfast and lunch. This area was cosy and had a nice view of the sea in the valley, however, it also included a pond whose sole purpose seemed to be for mosquito breeding. We got bitten countless times, especially during dinner time. Having known that, we would have brought a big reserve of insect repellent. Finally, the comfort and quality absolutely didn't correspond to the price. Getting out of one's comfort zone and having a bit of a challenge can be nice, but not for 280tl per night. The price was especially shocking regarding the fact that in Öludeniz (less than an hour away and also by the sea) you can stay at a nice apartment hotel with AC, functioning amenities and a pool for half the price (which we did later). To highlight the positives: the nature in the camp is lush with a variety of trees and flowers, there is a beautiful view of the sea, the food was healthy and tasted good, and staff member/receptionist/bartender Cem was extremely friendly and helpful.
