With Cinque Terre’s only proper harbor, Vernazza has a long history as a fishing village. While there is a small beach, sightseeing is more common in this astoundingly beautiful cliffside town. Highlights include the 16th-century Belforte Tower (which offers incredible views of the area), the 11th-century Doria Castle and the 14th-century Santa Margherita d'Antiochia church. It involves a steep hike, but the shrine at Nostra Signora Di Reggio (Our Lady of Reggio) is well worth it.

Everyone needs a place to lay their weary head. For travelers visiting Vernazza, Agriturismo Costa di Campo is an excellent choice for rest and rejuvenation. Well-known for its romantic environment and proximity to great restaurants and attractions, Agriturismo Costa di Campo makes it easy to enjoy the best of Vernazza. As your “home away from home,” the guest house rooms offer air conditioning, a refrigerator, and a desk, and getting online is easy, with free wifi available. Travelers looking to enjoy some shrimp can head to Belforte, La Torre, or Gianni Franzi. Otherwise, you may want to check out a pub such as Burgus. There is no shortage of things to do in the area: explore popular castles such as Castello Doria. Agriturismo Costa di Campo is sure to make your visit to Vernazza one worth remembering.
The room where the “hotel” is located is nice, very new, big enough. However there are a few points that I actually do not agree with: 1. They do not offer the possibility to eat lunch or dinner (for a price they can choose). This is a problem since the closest place with a restaurant is Vernazza, where you have to leave your car and walk 15 min down the road. We had to take the food in the afternoon and eat it cold on our room in the evening. The other option is to stay until the evening in Vernazza, which is so small and after 1 hour you have visited... 2. Although the hotel is in Vernazza, it is actually very far from the town Vernazza in Cinque Terre. You definitely need a car to get there from the hotel. 3. The owners have some unusual rules like: no credit cards accepted for less than 3 nights; towels only changed every 3 days or you pay €3 per towel, room is cleaned every 2 days.

Beautiful everything, excellent cleanliness, upon entering you could smell a clean central position, they were all nice to us. The house is a bit old but this has made everything more characteristic .. The piano is beautiful .. We liked to live like a classic citizen Vernazzese

This was simultaneously the smallest room I’ve ever stayed in and one of my favorite stsys of all time! I stayed here with my wife when we traveled Europe with another couple. Their room was higher than ours and larger, with two sleeping quarters. Our room was lower down, and the room was just large enough to fit the bed. However, the room didn’t matter once you stepped out onto the large terrace which gives you an incredible view of the seaside town nestled in the mountains. We spent most of our time exploring the area but when we were there, we would sit and talk on the terrace as long as we could. I would stay here again and again!
