Each unit is an ensuite chalet with a big fridge. Park car in front of chalet. So convenient.Look out to padi fields and fruit garden....fresh air in a busy city. Wake up to singing of birds instead of traffic noise. So peaceful location yet close by restaurants and a big Tesco Supermarket. The owner Bowling is a graduate, speaks v gd English, interested in gardening and has planted many fruit trees for guests to learn and enjoy the fruits which she says will be able to harvest in 3 yrs. Bowling reccomends us to 2 restaurants but we went to one "By the River" - fantastic ecperience to eat by the riverside cooked by Michellin chef. Highly recc Breakfast cooked by her mom was great. Very sincere owners. We love to go back there again to enjoy their fruit trees.

This expansive high-set timber and concrete house has 3 rooms available, a double, and 2 other large rooms that could cater for multiple couples/larger groups. It's similar style to a large AirBnB, but licensed as a Hotel. All rooms have large en-suites, all well appointed with thoughtful lighting and accoutrements. But by far the most impressive feature of this listing is its secluded shady setting: high on the south bank of the Nan River; there's direct concrete steps access to the large grassed areas adjoining the water below. Hosts Kak and Tony (Brit) have made their place into a very welcoming venue, complete with bar, colorful lighting, beautiful garden, together with outdoor salas and relaxed seating areas. Combined with a liquor licence and Thai and some Western menu options, its a perfect overnight or longer stay retreat. Kak and Tony are extremely engaging hosts, which was great for me as a solo motorcyclist. But low level interaction is also an option. Ask Tony if he's got any stories to tell, he might have a couple for you.

Pleasant staff and efficient check in for our group of 10 people. Nice design of hotel, clean, plenty of parking. Excellent value for money. Good size King Room with Balcony for me, large bathroom. All worked okay. Breakfast could have been better -- but can't really complain at the rate we paid

This is a new 4-storey hotel in a very large orange-coloured building just off the highway a few kilometres from Uttaradit city centre. It is only recomnended for those with their own wheels as it is far from all sites, but the building comes equipped with plenty of car parking spaces, some of which are covered. The rooms are located in a long corridor over 4 floors with a landing in front of them, overlooking the road, countryside and houses. There is a large dining area for taking a free breakfast, but the receptionist can't speak English, but will let you speak to the owner, who can speak it well, on his telephone. However, the receptionist gives bad customer service as he refused to give me the room I wanted even though his boss had said over the telephone I could have it. Also, on the 2nd day, he wanted me to leave my key for cleaning, but when I came back at 7:30 in the evening, he kept asking me for the key in the belief I was checking out. Why would a guest be checking out at 7:30pm? He is just an idiot. I paid 400 Baht for a very beautifully decorated large room with marble-type floor, a large and comfortable double bed, but the pillows are far too hollow for comfort. There was also a desk and chair, fridge, luggage-placement area, a large wardrobe with just 3 clothes hangers, a wall-mounted TV with lots of channels (but Thai ones only), a painting hanging above the bed and one bedside table with a telephone. The walls were mainly painted a grey and white except for the area above the desk which is blue and the back of the wardrobe which is in pink. There are green curtains on the window which does open and looks out onto trees and towards the setting sun. The aircon works well as did the WiFi in my room for which you require both a username and password which changes daiky which, but the receptionist can enter for you. The bathroom is also large with tiled walls and floor with a proper showering area. Soap and toilet paper are provided. The water heater in the shower works well and the water spray is good. Breakfast can be taken on the 1st floor from 7:30am and consists of 2 or 3 Thai dishes which can be spicy. You can make coffee, if you wish, but there is no hot water. Overall, the rooms are comfortable although there is noise from the landing including traffic and dogs barking at times. The location is convenient if you have your own vehicle. The breakfast is somewhat too spicy for people from countries where the food isn't that spicy. However, the biggest problem at this hotel is the idiot that works at reception that understands nothing and is most unhelpful.
