This beautiful well preserved centennial house will charm you with its indoor and outdoor country style atmosphere. It was formerly known as the Maison d'Angélie et de Napoléon. The presence of wallpapers and old furniture reminds of the past and it feels comfortable. It offers four bedrooms, some of them has a rocking chair. Each room is equipped with wardrobe, drawers, mirrors, towels, alarm clocks, hair dryer and a selection of books and novels. Internet access is free and available in all rooms. Furthermore, there is a shared bathroom and a common toilet. The living room has a TV and you can watch DVDs. The building is also equipped with a front terrace where you can sit for coffee, chat or even play games. There is also a large terrace at the rear overlooking the garden. IMPORTANT for those who have allergies: There is a cat living in this house, but she doesn't have access to the second floor where the bedrooms are.
We had difficulties to find the site of the inn, although we talked on the phone with the manager. However, his information was not very clear and the signboard with the name of the inn was not well lit. Fortunately, he waited for us until close to 11 pm, but it turned out that the parking was not close to the entrance door of the inn, and we had to carry our luggage on the first floor (no elevator). In addition, both the toilet and bathroom were shared. The toilet was so small and low that I had to bend to enter it. The bathroom was on the entrance floor, while our room was on the first floor. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean. An excellent breakfast was served on a terrace and the manager was extremely accommodating and agreeable.

I can't say enough about hw much we enjoyed the apartment we stayed in recently. This section of the hotel is newly build taking into consideration everything one could need on vacation. Really big apartment that can accomodate 4 people comfortably The king size bed is extremely comfortable and the linen smells clean. The kitchen is well equiped and all the appliances are new and well maintained. The staff is exetrmely pleasant and try to make your stay is as nice as possible. It's a lot closer to the public beach than i thought...10 min walk max. I highly recommend apartment 45 at the back, although all apartments are really well insulated and sound proof.

Very good Aparthotel, excellent location as it is a walking distance from main highlights of Carleton sur mer, the sea is cross the street, rooms are clean, need to work on Blackouts and soundproof of the walls, there is no AC at the room though temperature does not get hot during our stay, the bed is double not queen so it is a little bit small, the shared kitchen has all essential tools and equipment you may need to prepare ur food. People was respecting to be quiet after 11 pm. Interestingly, all communication with the reception and for check in & check out was through text msgs ! And it was so easy, simple and quick.

I spent two nights here during Canada Day weekend because I was in New Richmond (26 km away) photographing one of the Canadian Rally Championship races. I was lucky enough to find this spot at the last minute and after staying here, with clean rooms, a wonderfully delicious breakfast (blueberry pancakes, toast, home made preserves, cheeses, etc), and a very friendly host, I can only recommend. The Gaspe is famous for friendly people who take pride in their culture, and this was very evident. I will stay here again.

Auberge on a cliff by the Baie des Chaleurs. 13 superior rooms, 2 suites, 5 appartments, ocean vue, terrasse, restaurant,3 meals, children menu, bring your wine! Open all year long.Welcome!
Ok for one night but would not stay more We just got charged for carpet that is missing but we are not responsible. We are not that kind of people. Just make sure to leave the room after you have them checked which we did not do our mistake. Since we had paid the night before and no one at the desk for a ling while when we checked out so we left the key at the desk since it was time to go.This will be contested on the credit card because we have nothing to with it and we wrote to the owner to verify with her staff????? Kind of old and breakfast ok but nothing extra

A éviter.

Location is nice.... right on the water. The room is very small, older motel, needs work. There was coffee and microwave and toaster oven out in the hall.. not enough creamer for the coffee. not enough outlets in the room. Had to sit in the hall to use my laptop as there was no accessible outlet in the room and NO desk. would have to place laptop on top of the mini fridge if i wanted to use that. Shower was ok, The proprietor was very nice, although it was difficult communicating as my French is worse than her English, but we managed. Old bed was soft, but we had a restful night's sleep.
