Great place for all kids. Plenty of attractions like line park, cinema 7d, kajaks, swimming pool and many other spaces, where your kids could see how physics works on simple examples.

Close to market square in Głuchołazy there's St Lawrence church. It's beginnings date back to 14th century, but todays shape comes from the first half of 18th century. It is main church in town. The porch is always open for tourist to have look at the interior, which is not that interesting. The main sights of the church are: the main facade with it's main entrance - both remember romanesque times. Church is worth a little detour, but nothing special.

Run by Czech state this fantastic cave just off main road from Pisecna to Polish border, highly surprising turn onto the drive with confusing signpost (it's either too early or too late, depends which direction you coming from). Parking space at the reception building. Guided tours every hour, it takes less than 30 minutes to do the circle. If you planning to visit both caves in this area: Na Spicaku and Na Pomezi - start here, as it is much smaller cave, so you will avoid disappointment.

It's really small monastery, build in nineteenth century, hidden in the Forests south to the town of Prudnik. Narrow lanes lead to the place, but also marked trails alow you to reach the monastery. There's a few associated sites around, where monks are trying to make it as appealing to tourists, as possible. There's also a viewing tower on nearby hill, but this is owned by the forest office. In the monastery itself, there's obviously a church, but the most important place is the room, where in 1954/1955 Polish communnist government imprisoned a head of Polish catholic church, cardinal Józef Wyszyński, and two other people working for the church. Today, the former place of detention serves as a little museum, where all the furniture has been kept as back in the fifties. There's no set fee for visiting the place, but the donations are welcomed. There's always some young friars at hand to come with stories about the monastery and the cardinal Wyszyński.

Local landmark in the village of Gierałcice, near Głuchołązy. Right on Sudetes mountain ridge main trail marked in red (440 km). Apparently there's been a church on this site since early 14th century, but current building is dated mid 17th century. I wouldn't make detour to see it, but if you exploring Głuchołazy area, or walking mentioned trail - it's a nice little spot.

Zlatý chlum je krásná kamenná rozhledna, která nabízí super výhled na celé své okolí. Otevřená je jen květen až září, tak na to pozor.
