The interesting exhibits, dioramas and interactive displays of this museum depicts the natural history of coastal North and South Carolina.
We enjoyed this place in that it told of the ocean currents, sea and shore animals and some history and heritage of living near the local coast. However, it had fairly limited exhibits and was overpriced for what you saw ($9.50 per adult). One room was even down a half flight of stairs without any way for handicapped people to see (Americans w/ Disabilities Act violation?).

Cruise past North Myrtle Beach to just before SC/NC border on hwy 17 and Vereen Memorial Garden is on the right. A free park with many walking trials and wooden walks off the intercoastal waterway. A regular shown us 2 bald eagles the nest in the area and where we can see barred owls in the woods. It is dog friendly. It is truly a hidden gem. The park does take donations to keep it in the condition it is. We will be back for sure.

Silver Coast Winery is a family owned and operated winery that produces International Award Winning Wines from Chardonnay to White Merlot and Cabernet. Have a wine tasting and browse our art gallery and gift shop. Enjoy a glass of wine while rocking the day away in the rocking chairs on the front porch. Silver Coast offers tours and tastings daily. Come learn about the winemaking process!
They tried to fit too many people at the tasting bar. Was over crowded and detracted from the experience. Staff was helpful, but one got pulled to check people out too. That left the other people with too many people and not knowing where you were on the tasting. Not impressed.

Staying at my sister's place for the Christmas holiday, we were able to take a walk on the beach to the Kindred Spirit mailbox. We each left our names in the notebook. It was cute decoration with a Christmas decoration.

Associated with The Museum of Coastal Carolina (both founded by the same man), The Ingram Planetarium is a private planetarium. We enjoyed a program about the Seven Wonders of the World followed be a show about the (possibly?) Seven Wonders of the Universe. The shows were followed by a presentation of the current night sky. The Planetarium offers educational programs throughout the year, catering to young and old alike. It would be an ideal place to take a child or young adult who has an interest in science. It is well worth the admission price of $9.50 plus tax for non-members. Most events are free for Planetarium members.

We spent the day on Sunset Beach while on a recent vacation and loved it. Sunset Beach is set up very family-friendly with public restrooms, and a pier to visit for $1/person. We enjoyed learning more about local history and of course all of the seafood that is harvested from this area!

Enjoy Las Vegas Style Casino Action on The Big M Casino's 2 Luxury casino yachts departing from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina year round.
We are not into gambling....played a little big of slots...there are full table games if you're into that. They offer a large buffet. One deck is for smokers and one is smoke free. Cocktails are also available. We really went to be on the water and enjoy the boat ride and scenery...a. Great way to spend the day

It's a nice little place but nothing special. They offer a little bit of everything but the booths with the fun collectibles were jumbled and some hard to see everything. The booths with furniture were wide open and easy to maneuver. If you are in the area it's worth checking out for sure.

My friend and I played here the day before Thanksgiving. What a great course! They offer 3 nines. The course has wide landing areas with scattered bunkers, lots of water and bunker guarded greens. The greens are amazing and the best that I have played in a long time. The staff was super friendly and glad that you chose to play their course. I will definitely play here again!!
