Hogback Ridge Preserve is a nice, hilly hike through the woods. There are stairs, but if you do not want to take the stairs, you can stay on the upper loop or walk down the road and take the trail to the pond observation area. The Preserve is well-maintained and you will often spot squirrels, various birds, deer, raccoons, and now that the weather has warmed, the occasional snake. If we have had rain, the trail can get a little wet, so having boots for you and a towel for your dog comes in handy. During business hours, there is a restroom inside the Preserve office; otherwise there is a portable toilet at the trail entrance. Hiking the entire trail with stairs takes about 25 minutes.

I am very, very appreciative of whomever invested in this. As a non-combatant veteran have visited 94 National Cemeteries or other veterans cemeteries including Normandy and the Punchbowl in Hawaii and many other memorials. It is sobering to consider that these men and women purchased our freedom in the Revolutionary War, protected it in 1812, freed the slaves in 1865, saved Europe in 1918, ended the Holocaust in 1945 and have protected the cause of freedom in many lands since. American veteran cemeteries have the traditional slab, but like the 26 cemeteries managed my the American Battle Monuments Commission oversees, Sunbury has crosses or Stars of David.

My mom and I visited this outlet mall for Ohio tax free weekend. We enjoyed all of the outlets that we visited. We shopped Yankee Candle Outlet, Banana Republic Factory Store, Old Navy Outlet, American Eagle Outfitters, Levi’s Outlet, Under Armour, Aéropostale, Bath & Body Works, & HANESbrands. We wanted to visit the Nike Factory Store but there was a line to get into the store so we decided not to visit. All of the stores are great and we will definitely come back for Christmas shopping. I would recommend this Outlet mall if you live anywhere in the state of Ohio. The people at Shopper Services were awesome and I definitely recommend visiting there. There aren’t too many food options on site; there is Rise Pies Handcrafted Pizza, Subway, two Auntie Anne’s, and a Starbucks. There are many food options nearby though such as, McDonald’s, Tim Hortons, Wendy’s, White Castle, Panera Bread, Cracker Barrel, Waffle House, Taco Bell, Arby’s, Starbucks, & Bob Evans. The only store I would like to see in the future is an Adidas Outlet. This Outlet mall is conveniently located in Sunbury and I definitely recommend bringing the whole family.

My two and four old love this place. They love all of the options: play area, kiddie bowling, roller skating, and arcade. The prices are definitely reasonable. You can order pizza and have it delivered to the front desk.
