Showcasing contemporary craft and art alongside an inspiring exhibition programme of work by local and national artists. ACEarts is located in the centre of Somerton, In the historic Old Town Hall. We present a varied and stimulating programme of exhibitions and related events throughout the year. Our craft shop supporting over 100 makers has a level entrance and wide aisles throughout, and offers a large selection of high quality art and crafts available to purchase.
A great exhibition space and lovely gallery shop. When I visited I saw the British Wildlife Open Exhibition winner exhibition. The paintings were beautiful and the exhibition was hung very well. I recommend ACEarts and I will definitely visit again.

Clue HQ Somerton offers a fun, unique experience. Our room has its own story which is explained to you on entry. After being locked in the room we put 60 minutes on the clock. You try to escape solving a set of puzzles, clues, finding keys as a team of up to 6 players. Will you get out in time? The games are suitable for those 10 years and over, but has been designed for adults.
Our first ever escape room experience and what a brilliant end to our holiday! So exciting! Our 2 pre-teen boys (and us) spent a full hour like whirling dervishes, hunting down and solving clues and succeeded with just 8 seconds to spare! Very well run, felt Covid safe and the lady very welcoming. Highly recommended!

We stayed here for a week and what a privilege it was. The grounds are outstanding with acres of formal gardens (Arts & Crafts style), extraordinary views to the west across the gardens and pastures to the horizon, and several walks out into the wider estate. The west wing can be booked for holidays. It has the best equipped kitchen I’ve come across in a self catering property. It was warm and additional portable heaters were supplied so we could adapt the temperature as needed. A log fire was set up on our arrival. As was a much appreciated afternoon tea. Big shout out to the cleaning team: the entire wing was immaculate. This vast property, with so many nooks and crannies, and so many huge paintings and ornaments would not be easy to clean but they’ve nailed it, every inch was perfect. This was our first stay in a National Trust property and we can’t wait for the next one.
