PADI 5* Dive Centre on Curaçao's most beautiful beach with a gorgeous oval shaped double reef surrounding a sandy valley. Probably the best place on the island for an introduction dive and a great dive site for advanced divers too. Can they meet my wishes? and so there are several questions that can be asked. We at DIVERS REPUBLIC do it differently from the other diving schools on Curaçao. What else do we do then you wonder! We have a personal approach and look at the needs of the customer. We give the customer priority in what they want and we try to organize it. We also don’t work in large groups. Our groups are no larger than 4 students for courses, but often also do 1 to 1 courses at no extra cost. We don’t only dive at our own location at PLAYA DAAIBOOI, but go to all dive sites on the island. We do this with the Toyota Hilux Pick-up. Truly amazing experience! I went there after being gifted of a massage package from my wife. It's located close to the terrace, inside the koraal establishment. The reception is cozy and the staff really friendly and welcoming: they explained and showed us the entire spa in a detailed overview. We enjoyed all the services, from the sauna to the steam room, trough the cold room and the jacuzzi. Believe me, staying in the jacuzzi while admiring the spectacular view of the sea and drinking an herbal tea is priceless. I will return there for sure to recharge my batteries, I love 8 the experience!

A must visit when you're at Curaçao; the old Jan Kok Landhuis (on opposite of the salt lake with Flamingos) with amazing colorful art of the local painter Nena Sanchez. Visit the basement of the Landhuis with awesome wallpaintings. Very friendly shopkeepers. And yes, er left with some nice replicas.

The sanctuary gives you an excelleny opportunity to see flamingoes in their natural habitat, in a wild and beautiful scenery. Definitely worth a visit.
