This is extremely beautiful place in terms of natural beauty and Lake behind temple. Lord Shiva temple is place of must visit for devotees. There is saying that water level does not change. Almighty blessings. Water from worshiping of shivlinga flows into lake. Beautiful place as well.

Kareng ghar is also known as Gargaon Palace which is at Gargaon and approximately 14 KM from main Sivasagar town. Swargedeo Rajeswar Singha built the present day shape in 1752.
