This gallery is located in a century old Victorian house in the seaside village of Pugwash, Nova Scotia, Canada. Experience a wide selection of fine art photography representing the beauty of eastern Canada by Fred Horton along with local pottery and jewelry. Please call or email for hours as I am open mostly by chance or appointment. In the summer I am open most days from 10am to 5pm.
The owner was wonderful in recommending where we could have art work framed. He prints photos from local areas that are very affordable and make lovely gifts.

A favorite gem of a trail! Often you will be the only one there. It's especially wonderful in the spring with the arrival of bird life. The first half of this trail is an easy walk and fairly dry underfoot. If you intend to walk the second half then be sure to have good footwear and bug repellent as it can be quite wet and buggy at times.Well worth the effort though.Over many visits we have seen a great variety of ducks and warblers, plus a beaver or two,a mink and often eagles and seals that frequent the aboiteau looking for fish.

We visited this site after reading the reviews on Trip Advisor even though I couldn't find any mention of the place in my tour books. The name of the Lodge and the name of the town - Pugwash - also intrigued me! What a fantastic find! Had a tour by a very knowledgeable young man, then had the pleasure of meeting and talking with the granddaughter of Cyrus Eaton, the anonymous sponsor of the peace convention of 1957 which included delegates from 22 countries from both sides of the Iron Curtain. So much history! Amazing. Highly recommended!

Overlooking the beautiful Northumberland Strait, Nova Scotia, Northumberland Links is one of Atlantic Canada’s most picturesque and challenging golf courses. Don’t let its length fool you… prevailing winds, rolling fairways, well-placed bunkers and lightning fast greens make it a true test and enjoyable experience. The ocean scenery combines with the beautiful landscaping of the grounds to create an atmosphere perfect for a round of golf. The bentgrass greens are designed to challenge even the most serious players.

Our fine craft gallery showcases our line of Basic Spirit pewter that we handcraft in Pugwash and wholesale in North America. We also carry other handmade gifts, home accessories, costume jewellery and fudge. The shop is located in an older Nova Scotian house just west of the Village on Rt.6.
I loved this adorable shop! The pewter designs are real works of art - you can feel the love that went into them (as you can see from the photos I'm particularly partial to mermaids). I'm so glad I decided to stop here!

I most enjoyed the foot massage, and my husband has created lovely tables for our home with the gorgeous wood he purchased (raw edges) - such a friendly, relaxed atmosphere that welcomes one and all, even the pets. Entertainment provides a soft background to a wonderful experience every week. Activities for children included i.e. blindfolded children spoon feeding blindfolded adults fresh blueberries :o))))) Bought hand made soaps & chocolates for Christmas gifts.
