The Museum of Post and Telecommunications was opened in 2008 in Polhov Gradec Castle (Dormouse Castle). The museum contains collections on the history of postal services and the development of telecommunications, a telephone and teleprinter exchange and Ziva's Corner, which is aimed at the youngest museum visitors.
As soon as you enter the walls of the Polhov Gradec Mansion, you find yourself in a different space and time – a time to enjoy the company of Count Blagay and his wife Antonia over a cup of herbal tea served in their salon. The programme includes a tour of the mansion led by a local guide, admission to the Museum of Post and Telecommunications and the Local Museum.
