My wife and I were travelling through Nundle and were very impressed with the range of useful tools, implements and other goods for sale here in the store. Along with other travelling couples visiting Nundle, we spent much time browsing and being impressed with the quality of items not generally seen elsewhere. So impressed were we that we purchased several items that we have not been able to find elsewhere. Highly recommended!

Nundle Woollen Mill is one of Australia's last working woollen mills still operating in Australia. Utilising machinery dating back to 1914, visitors will see machines from yesteryear that transform wool from raw form into a beautiful and colourful ball of yarn. You will be amazed as you see an intimate view of how the wool is processed. The Mill is open seven days per week but the machines only operate Monday to Friday. The Mill team offer FREE tours at 2:00PM Monday to Friday. We hope you will drop in and see what we do.

Travel east from the Nundle Hotel along Oakenville Street for 800 metres then veer left where it is signposted to Hanging Rock and Barry. Travel 6.5 kilometres and you will see a road on the left that goes to Niangala. Almost opposite, on the right, is the track to the Hanging Rock lookout. (It should be sign-posted). Turn right down the track to the Hanging Rock lookout and park on the right hand side after 50 metres.
My husband and I visited Hanging Rock Lookout on a beautiful rainy day. We had the place to ourselves and loved it! The view from here is spectacular! Definitely a landscape photographers dream location!

Recreated by the dedicated local owner, the Museum is one of the top 5 attractions in Nundle, a must see when visiting.
