Beautiful views from all the lookouts with easy access in 2wd vehicles. Bitumen on the steep bits, so quite OK in the wet. I did the Coryah Gap and Summit Walk. It is a bit overgrown at the start and could do with a brush cutter. The climb is fairly steep but well formed steps cut in make it easier. The grass trees around the summit are a sight to behold. Take water and sunscreen. A walking pole will help on the descent.

Sawn Rocks is a 40 metre basalt rock cliff face featuring ‘perpendicular-octagonal shaped rocks, resembling a giant series of organ pipes’ & looks as though it was created by some architectural firm rather than nature.
Nice easy walk to see these intriguing rock formations , well kept paths it is a lovely nature walk with family couples or solo :-)

Take the time to explore this place. Very informative displays with some interesting interactive experiences. Have a go at the small dishes in which you can hear one another from a great distance. Used it as a stop off point on the way to the Pilliga Bore Bath.

Narrabri Fish Farm is the largest hatchery based aquaculture farm in NSW breeding native fingerling and yabbies. It is located just 10km out of Narrabri off the Newell Highway and a must see for all ages. The farm is set on 250 acres and contains over 100 ponds and a 4 metre sculpture of a Murray Cod made out of recycled materials. A 10.30am Group Fish feeding Tour is held daily, alternatively private fishing and yabbying is available between 8am and 4pm. Bookings are essential.
Owner Rick is a real character, listening to him explain about the property, how he goes about raising the fish and such was fascinating. This is a no-frills place so you just go with the flow and enjoy. Our visit included a feed of fresh grilled yabbies and the best, just the best clean cold bore water you are ever going to drink. There’s also a traditional bush camp where we ate the yabbies, and listened to more stories from Rick.

Short walk from Pilliga Pub, where we stayed the night. Arrived at the baths at sunrise and only a few people having an early dip. Water temperature is awesome, like a warm bath and leaves you feeling relaxed and refreshed. Worth the drive!
