SFSC Performing Arts presents over 30 performances each season including Artist, Matinee, Jazz, and Trending Now series.
What a wonderful effort coming from this small "hometown" college in central Florida! The venue is comfortable inside and the acoustics and sound are beyond measure. Literally, there is not a bad seat and the balcony area is a great view as well. I have attended several concerts and other events throughout the years and love going to see a wide variety of performers like Sara Evans, Bill Engvall, an Eagles tribute band and several plays. Parking is ample and convenient to the entrance area. We drop off at the front door those family members that have trouble walking. It's also covered which is great if raining! Volunteer staff members are everywhere and kindly assist in finding seats. Tickets are very affordable. Thank you so much to the great local sponsors and the college for supporting this great attribute to Highlands County and central Florida!

The museum store offers rotating exhibits of select regional 3-D artists, jewelry, and prints. A little country store with all the local fixins from fresh squeezed orange juice, local honey, gifts, and fresh orange ice cream. Come out and sit on one of the orange rocking chairs and relax a bit on our front porch. Stay up to date via our social media accounts! A neat place for citrus. ,jellies neat gifts. I love their soft serve ice cream especially the vanilla/ orange. They also have a wine tasting room which I did not try. A little hard to find but worth the trip. They have a rustic porch with rocking chairs to rest while eating your ice cream.

This is a community with 36 holes of world-class golf set in a tropical oasis next to a nature conservatory and a 260-acre freshwater lake. Our slogan is "Florida's Friendliest Place", but it's not just a slogan. It's the way we approach every facet of our service, course and maintenance. You won't find a happier place.
For my money this is one of the best courses in Sebring with some challenging holes. Interesting layout.....not typical of what you might expect from Fl. courses. Enough water and bunkers to keep you on your toes. Holes 5 and 18 offer great risk and reward play......my favorites. Workers on the course are respectful of players and owners are congenial and helpful. I love this course!

Made a quick trip to see the murals. Accessible, well lit and an impressive set of paintings. The next day we came back for the walking tour of Lake Wales Ridge flora. The trail was not well marked and a little rough for those with minor walking/balance challenges.
