Central Alabama Paintball Park

Reviewed By 541jameso - South Korea, null

A group of 6 of us recently visited Central Alabama Paintball Park to do a teambuilding/morale event on a Tuesday in December. The weather cooperated and we had a fabulous experience. We booked our private party online since during the "offseason" the facility only opens to accomodate private events outside of regular weekend hours...Friday-Sunday. AFter booking the event I was contacted by Tyler who was extremely helpful getting our reservation finalized and making sure our group was ready to go once we arrived. The facility has 5 separate fields...and we played on 4 of them during our 2-hour period. 2 of the fields have lights for evening sessions, but Tyler told us that all will be lit before Spring 2020. We bought the Silver Package for 6 people and got an extra 500 paintballs...2500 total. CAPP provides the guns and the safety helmet with eye protection...but I highly suggest a hooded sweater or hat to protect the whole of your head and neck areas, also loose fitting clothes since the PBs still cause quite a sting when they hit you! Gloves might be helpful too! Tyler did a great job explaining the game and how players would be eliminated in each game. After an hour of blasting away at each other we purchased another 2000 to continue the game. We initially split into two teams of 3 and played single shot eliination...after a few games rotating through different players we changed to a 3-team, 2-person competition which was also fun. Overall we had an amazing time...it is a great event for teambuilding and relieving some stress - we were still talking about it with our colleagues who chose not to attend for several days. We will definitely go back for more...highy recommend!

Buck Creek Trail

Reviewed By MES17 - Alabaster, United States

Buck Creek Trail provides a peaceful place to walk through nature anytime of the day and year! The walking trail is level and easy to travel. Usually there are other people and dog’s on leashes enjoying the natural beauty around them. Wildflowers are found here and there on the trail. Large brown rabbits are to be found in the early morning near the blue hole. Sulfur butterflies use the trail and it’s water during September as they migrate through our state. Even in the bleak of winter, the trail is just lovely. All during the year the sound of the rush or slow movement of Buck Creek is enjoyable like nature’s true music. Go enjoy the Trail and leave nothing behind.
