The home of Auguste Escoffier is a now a museum with several exhibits on this famous French cook, considered by many the father of modern culinary art. The Museum is closed until 21 December 2018 inclusive. We will welcome you from 22 December 2018 : from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm and from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm, every day.
This is a definite must place to visit for gourmets! The well-designed and well-run museum in the house where Escoffier was born is now run by the city. The 6 euros entry fee even included a Peach Melba dessert and coffee on our visit! The precious collection of menus and the well preserved period cooking utensils are enlightening: one comes away with a better understanding of how French cuisine was born and its historical influence on the New York dining scene.

We come here every year. Our kids (aged 8 & 11) love it. Something completely different and so much fun. Beautifully designed play area in the woods. Kids able to climb up into trees via safely secured rope netting. Zip wires, water area, bouncy castles, tyre slides. Can buy food but most bring their own. Loads of picnic tables in shaded areas on hot days. You can fill up your water bottles for free. Kids will get soaked in water area, so bring a change of clothes. Great for kids of all ages. Unique and Innovative.

Le Village des Fous, Whatizit ? A 2 acres amusement park full of crazy games for children and grown-ups, but also a place of discoveries and curiosity which reserves you funny surprises! A place governed by absurd, where being mad as hatter is an art of living. Flying bathtub, upside down huts, SplashPlage, the Experiencez District and the famous 13 meters high Affil Tower ! If you are lucky enough to get into this funny village, prepare yourself to be dumbfounded!

What a picturesque and tranquil place to stroll or bicycle through! Ideal to have a small picnic while sitting on a bench and letting your mind wander as you look out at a sea of serenity and sleepy sailboats. Or, if you've brought your appetite, there are loads of restaurants to choose from. A few boutiques and a decent sized grocery store round out this port area.
