Berowra Valley National Park

Reviewed By JElliot32 - New South Wales, Australia

We hiked from Hornsby to Thornleigh station, so first thing to note is this fabulous walk is very accessible by public transport. We descended from the plateau at Hornsby via the beautiful Bluegum track. After that we followed the Benownie track to Thornleigh. This is part of the Great Northern Walk and the track is well marked. That said it is a genuine bushwalk, steep and slippery in parts, and walking poles can come in handy. The forests along the track are simply majestic, as are some of the views, while many of the creek crossings are picture perfect. And plenty of birdlife to experience, especially white cockatoos. All up the walk took us 3 and a half hours.

Elude

A brilliant game in which players solve a series of puzzles using clues & strategy to ultimately escape before the clock runs out. Use skill, logic & reasoning to solve the puzzles. Great team building, teaching the importance of communicating and working together. Experience an exhilarating adrenaline rush from playing the game, and give your brain a great workout.

Our experience with Perpetual Motion was excellent. The rooms are really well put together, the props are top notch and the puzzles are a good mix. Clues are provided as you need them, with smaller tips, and if necessary, more help in case you’re totally stuck. The game masters, Julia and Darren were amazing before and after. Since we were the last slot of the night, we were able to have a chat with them at great length about the design of the room, tips and tricks for working a room better and overall strategy that makes a great escape team. Overall, we had an amazing time!

Dangar Island

Reviewed By marisat579 - Sydney, Australia

Lovely step away from busy everyday traffic onto the island's peace and quiet. No cars, only bird sounds! Leafy and tropical easy walk along the main road with side tracks to the beach spying waterfront humble abodes. Could see myself devouring books on my back deck or just lapping up lots of rest. Dine at the local club or cafe on the marina. Browse through the extensive book library whilst you wait for the return of the cute ferry with an informative and friendly ferry master. A well kept secret.

Am amazed how little ones are still attracted to the water and the adults enjoy meeting around the unique sculpture.
