We offer quality family entertainment in the form of live action actor-led adventure games and interactive mystery dinner theatres. We promote family and friend interactions and challenge the mind with unique puzzles. Relationships are enhanced through communication and collaboration as the story progresses. We love that we can bring joy and laughter to our customers. We are presently performing dinner theatres at our brand new location, Mystery Manor, 132 Chapel St. Johnson City (former Gray Funeral Home near the Gray fairgrounds). Our escape adventures are still located at 2501 W Market St until we can build out escape rooms at the manor. At that point, we will have both in one awesome location.
My friends and I have done the Dr. Jekyll room and Excalibur at Perplexodus and both were fantastic! I’ve done over 30 escape rooms and Excalibur was one of my favorites. The rooms are a ton of fun and the staff is super friendly! The gamemasters being live-actors is unique and a really fun aspect you won’t find at other rooms. 10/10 would recommend!

This huge park is great . . . lots of shade along the hiking trails. Reputable place for softball tournaments. Soccer is fast becoming a usual sight here. Lots of parking . . . FREE park.

We started at the trailhead in Johnson City and took the trail almost 6 miles, ending in Elizabethton near Sycamore Shoals. The path is clear and has lovely historic markers along the way. Plenty of benches are available as are mile markers about every 0.2 miles. The only issues are access to restrooms/porta potties are limited on the trail. Lighting is also an issue if you are planning to go in the evening. The trail currently spans 9.6 miles. I would love to see this finished at 10 miles as the course would make an excellent 10 miler run course.

The longest-running microbrewery in Johnson City, TN. Traditional and seasonal brews, experimental batches, and cask ales. All brewed one barrel at a time.
It’s in a really good location downtown right off I-26. They have a big selection that covers just about every type of drink. Eric the owner came to my table and introduced himself during a busy rush they were having. I highly recommend this brewery to anyone visiting town.

Very informative and pleasant hike. I learned new things about our environment and the mayor of Johnson City was there, who emphasized her interest in nature preservation around Johnson City.
