The store in conveniently located next to the Best Western where we were staying. There is a path between Buildings 1 and 2 so you don't have to walk on the road. The store has the typical magnets and hats and tshirts, etc., but it also has some nice crafts as well. Prices are reasonable and there really is something for everyone.

We weren't expecting anything. In fact, I thought it might not even be a museum. But boy was I wrong. This place is filled with thousands of Norman Rockwell illustrations. I was blown away how interesting they were, and how prolific the artist Normal Rockwell was. We spent a couple of hours there, and we could have spent more time if we didn't have to leave for something else. Also, don't assume like we did that the Rockwell Museum at Corning, NY, not that far away, might be better than this for Normal Rockwell illustrations. But the other museum isn't about Normal Rockwell, but rather just collections, much of which were owned by a different Rockwell. So if you want to go see Normal Rockwell illustrations, go to this. It doesn't look like much on the outside, and its pretty full on the inside, but you will definitely enjoy it. Yes there is a sale sign. I spoke to the woman operating the place, and she said that the owners want to retire and are looking for someone to buy the business and the art. But it didn't seem imminent, but call first to be sure they are still operating.
