Albert Shahinian Fine Art

Albert Shahinian Fine Art is a premier art dealer and venue in the Hudson Valley since 1998. Exhibits showcase paintings, photographs and works on paper by living mid-and late-career regional artists, as well as ceramics, cast-metal sculpture, & artist books. The gallery is a 3rd floor walk-up (not handicap accessible), and includes two exhibit galleries and a back-room gallery. Omega Institute

Come for one of the many workshops or for a personal R&R stay. Omega is a soul-satisfying place with beautiful grounds and a peaceful atmosphere. Accommodations range in price from basic camping to deluxe eco-friendly rooms. Most people stay in the dorms which are private (small) rooms with shared bathrooms. The campus is hilly but they have golf carts that help people with mobility issues navigate the grounds. I have been going every year for over ten years and always have a wonderful time.

With its vintage (original) decor and excellently curated items (from hardware to gifts) this is the best place to shop in Rhinebeck. Do not miss it. Still run by the Stickle family. And it has an incredible yard shop in the rear.

Beekman Arms Antique Market

Reviewed By sfrdrunner - San Francisco, United States

Being from the Left Coast, we make it a priority to revisit the Beekman Arms Antiques Emporium on every trip to the Hudson Valley. This was the first Upstate Antiques Shop that impressed my wife, who's become a fan of unique artifacts, so much so, every new New England village or Hamlet we come across, we're hunting down the next local Beekman. The Emporium is tucked behind the Beekman Arms Inn, in a 2 Story Red Wooden Building. Staff make themselves readily available to assist you and to help you view up close pieces locked and secured in locked cases. What my wife appreciated most, is they remembered us, even, having visited some 11 months ago. There's Troves of unique pieces and "stuff", amassed by a number of collectors, ensuring, you'll be kept busy trying to view every piece and maybe like us, visualizing how they were employed in daily life. For those who seldom see an Antiques Store, think of the Beekman as Disneyland, on a small scale and a few hours, genuinely well spent being educated about early Americana!

Haven Spa

Reviewed By cleonacatsly - Rhinebeck, United States

There are many facials available. I always sign up for their special series for every season throughout the year. It’s a pro experience. Rooms are all quiet , comfortable, and relaxing. I am one of the regulars. Prices reflect the quality and professionalism of skilled body workers and estheticians. There are other places to go but this is honestly better than city Spas which can be off putting and uncomfortable. The experience speaks for itself. Try something new and let them guide you. Haven has tried over the years to curate the best products for its customers. When the products do not live up to the standards of their service they will provide a vendor that can deliver the best. This is why they are still the best and will continue to be the best. The services are high quality and effective. Expect to pay the right price for that and to understand the difference. Enjoy
