Lovely shop, always worth a visit if you’re going through Lyndhurst. Lovely coffees which they can grind for you (the vanilla is my favourite) and lots of specialist gins which they know all about and you can try. Always very welcoming!

The museum in the New Forest Heritage Centre is packed full of displays and activities about the New Forest. The Impressions of the New Forest National Park film show welcomes you to the New Forest Museum and sets the scene for your visit. Discover why ponies are kept on the Forest and why we shouldn't feed them! See the Beaulieu Road pony sales yard display and soak up the atmosphere of the sales yard by listening to the sounds of a typical trading day. Visit our Family Fun Tree! There's something here for all ages and you'll find out more about how to enjoy your time in the Forest. The New Forest Heritage Centre is owned and run by the registered charity New Forest Heritage Trust.
Very enjoyable visit with lots to look at and it’s free to enter. Great coffee/tea room with great cakes and friendly staff and picked up some nice keep sacks from the very large gift shop, something for everyone.

Whilst visiting Lyndhurst with my wife recently we found this little Gem of a shop which specialises in wooden items for all ages. Highly recommended for a visit much to see and purchase from toys for the children to watches for the adults. We also found the service to be helpful and courteous. Well worth a visit.

Timeless classic vintage furniture and eclectic homeware... with a New Forest twist ! Established in 2014, Shave Green has a firm footing in the village both with locals and visitors alike. The shop changes everyday, with new and exciting stock, lots with amazing stories from the past. Reclaimed, re-loved and renovated furniture, alongside new Mirrors, lighting and soft furnishings. Stockists of Grand Illusion Vintage chalk paint, Voyage Maison, Nkuku and Garden Trading. We also sell pieces for clients on commission, pop in and see us soon..
This was an excellent shop to find - and even better they currently have a 20% off all items sale on (Nov 2019). There is no pressure when browsing, you're not followed around the shop. The owner is very calm and friendly and as the items we purchased were heavy offered to keep them for us so we did not have to carry them around whilst visiting other places along the High Street. An excellent place for gift and well worth the visit.

A fascinating, warm, brick and wood interior with lots of arresting detail. The signboards telling the story of Alice, of Alice in Wonderland fame, and how Lewis Caroll came to write about her, and her role in the local community, were very interesting. Lyndhurst has scores of teashops . . . take one in after seeing the church.
