Sturgeon’s mill is a 106 year old steam powered sawmill. We are a working museum that is open 4 weekends a year to the general public. On these weekends historians, gear heads, steam heads and students of California history come to “Step back into History” at our museum.

View the largest collection of original Peanuts art work in the world at the Charles M. Schulz Museum. Visitors can laugh at Schulz’s original comic strips, learn about the art of cartooning and Schulz’s role in its development, view a re-creation of Schulz’s art studio, watch animated Peanuts specials and documentaries in the theater, and draw cartoons in the hands-on education room. The Museum features a Peanuts tile mural (made from comic strips), a wrapped Snoopy doghouse, morphing Snoopy, Snoopy labyrinth, Kite-Eating tree, and three exhibition galleries that change every 6 months.
Spent an afternoon here, and it was a lovely experience! As a lifelong fan of the Peanuts gang, I loved reading the abundant comic strips and learning more about Charles Schulz’s life, career, and inspiration. Currently, they are featuring Woodstock and Camp Snoopy exhibitions through March 2020. Would highly recommend if you are a fan of Charlie Brown and the gang!

Aircraft museum featuring aircraft from Korean War through Vietnam through Cold War. Exhibit for the 9/11 "First Responder" F-15 Eagle interceptor. Open Cockpit days, and some climb aboard aircraft open for public viewing. Museum with WW II artifacts and Gift Shop. Featuring special educational opportunities for local schools as well.
It was a great little museum, with over twenty planes and helicopters. Almost every plane had a sign describing what the plane was, when it was used, how fast it could go, and what not. Overall it was definitely worth the five bucks to get in and walk around.

I'll admit it, I'm a California History buff and have been since my first CA history classes in grade school decades ago. I always visit the missions if I am stopping in my travels in CA and one is nearby. We had been to Cline Cellars several times before I realized they had this museum there. I really didn't expect much but was pleasantly surprised to find great models and fantastic written information following the steps of the padres as the missions were founded and moved north. If you have an interest in mission history; if you are in the area, stop by and take some time to walk the tour inside this small museum. And please, drop a few lire in the donation box so that they can keep this great piece of California history going.
