Beautiful and traditional
Reviewed By MariaG6952This hotel is very clean, beautiful and cozy. The staff is polite and kind. The interior is amazing and is in harmony with the Bulgarian traditions typical of Tryavna. The restaurant serves a variety of delicious dishes. Tryavna is a very original and quiet city, I would visit it again.

Tired and uncomfortable
Reviewed By rhsquaredMe and my wife stayed there for 6 nights. The only option available for the dates was "an apartment". I put it in double quotes because is very, very remote from an apartment. Two joined togheter rooms with NO door. Double beds in each, each one of them with two rather uncomfortable mattresses. There is a balcony with lovely view, the downside being that there is only a tiny plastic table with two plastic stools and places above the restaurant's outdoor tables which could cause some noise. The worst part was the bathroom - shower head doubles as a sink tap. The toilet seat, the sink and the shower all placed in a space less than half a square meter. No splash guard so everything inside gets wet, including the wooden and very tired door. Theree is a decently sized wardrobe in the entrance, a desk with a tiny TV and that's it. No chairs, no tables, nothing. The sheets were not changed in 6 days, the bins were emptied for the first time on day 4. All of the hotel sucks in the smells from the kitchen in the basement. It's practially impossible to get hold of any of the staff. Etc, etc. Location wise is only 50 meter from the town centre which is the only plus I can think of. Do yourself a favour and stay elsewhere.

The best little guest house in Gabrovo! Right downtown on the pedestrian walkway, in the center of everything. Great!
