This walk offers a brilliant showcase of some of jewels that Sydney Harbour has to offer. We walked from Mosman Bay ferry wharf around to Neutral Bay. While there are a few stairs and inclines, it is quite an easy, straightforward walk. The path is excellent - concrete for most of the way. You do have to walk along suburban streets for a couple of short stretches, but given the decorative richness of the architecture in this neck of the woods, that was hardly an imposition. It took us less than two hours and we dawdled. The highlights: from Cremorne Point the views of the harbour are just sensational, especially towards the CDB; the 'smaller' views across Mosman Bay are equally beautiful in a more picturesque way; architecturally there is much to admire, from the many prominent harbourside mansions to the elegant 1920s-style blocks of flats. Last but not least among the highlights is the extensive 'natural' bayside garden established on public land over decades by local couple Les and Ruby Graham, who started the massive task of transforming what had been a dumping ground back in 1959. The story of the makeover of a weed-covered garbage tip to a delightful, serene landscape is a remarkable one, and is recorded on a noticeboard at the site. It is worth a read.

Studios upstairs with dedicated teachers taking classes 7 days a week and continuing a tradition of excellence established in 1880. ISKCON Sydney is also called Sri Sri Radha Gopinath Mandir or the Hare Krishna temple. The Founder-Acharya is His Divine Grace A.C Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada. It is the Sydney chapter of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness, a world-wide movement aiming to educate humanity on the purpose of life through the principles contained in the holy books - Bhagavad Gita and Srimad Bhagavatam. Our temple is open 365 days of the year from 4 AM - 9 PM. Every morning we have prayers, ceremonies, chanting sessions and a spiritual class. On Sunday evenings, we have the famous vegetarian feasts and through the many months, we hold massive festivals! Please join us!

Jacarandas this season have been a dazzling show of purple all over Sydney! Especially in McDougall Street, Kirribilli. Big attraction.

This is a lovely area for getting some of the best views of Sydney Harbour. The Wharf itself is, I think out of service, but the general area is terrific. There is a small park where you can have a seat and just sit back, absorb the fresh air and totally enjoy the view, practically right underneath the Harbour Bridge. The Opera House is right in front of you, not too far away, just across the other side of the water. The Luna Park is next door. There is the Milsons Point Wharf nearby if you want to catch the ferry, or you can catch the train from Milsons Point train station a few minutes walk from there.

This is a small park in Kirribilli, barely more than a patch of lawn (a well-maintained patch of lawn). Not much in way of facilities aside from a park bench or two. The close-up views across the harbour to Circular Quay and to the Harbour Bridge are superb. (If you like your viewpoints, the outlooks from nearby Jeffrey St Wharf and Beulah St wharf are also worth checking out.)
