Labor Day is here. It means big sales at Citadel outlet. With blistering hot weather, people are lining up at each store front waiting for them to open. Lines at Nike and Adidas must be 30 minutes to an hour long. With the holiday sales, stores like Under Armor and Adidas having a 50% and more off storewide. Colombia has good deals too. I got my raincoat for just $35 where the non-sales price costed $129. Hiking shirt was on sale for $16. Citadel also added stores like Ralph Laurence last year. They have both the regular store and a pop up men’s clothing store as well. I found a deal on their casual dress shirts for less than $30. Normally these shirts cost up to $100. I saw stores like Kate Spake and Coaches have long lines too. I didn’t go in but looked like people were buying in bulk. Most of the patrons came out with at least 3 to 4 bi shopping bags. They must have big sales. The weather is hot and the parking lot gets full quickly. So please come early to get your deals.

My least favorite part was not being prepared to take advantage of all the activities. I enjoyed Catalina, it was a foggy day but it's best to go in the warmer months.

When I arrived at the outlets the customer service was closed. I called the number on the sign and no one answered. Eventually I found a security guard and after about 30 minutes I was given a bag full of trinkets.

Whenever we travel to a new city, we take a city tour to give us the lay of the land. Without a doubt, this tour was the best one we have ever taken. Roxanne did a wonderful job of giving us insight into the city, allowing us the time to explore the highlights and offering suggestions that we should explore. She was very prompt and professional, even reminding us the day before the tour about the specifics of pick up location and time. Outstanding tour!

The rich history of the paintings ( murals ) and explaining the meaning of the paintings and the artists was captivating. I was not bored at all. Tadeau ( tour guide) is like a history book except that I don’t have to do the reading. His knowledge about Tijuana, the places visited , the artists, and what the paintings explains is easy to follow and understand. It was a Mother’s Day well spent since I was alone in San Diego and my children couldn’t come, this day trip was their pick.
