Firstly this is a Mcarthurgen Outlet, so has all the big name discounts you would expect if you have been to a one before. We caught the train from the Friedrichstraße Station to Elstal which we had to change train once but just ask at the ticket desk and they will print timetable and instructions in English. It was really easy and was only a few Euros for a return train fare and took about 45 mins on the train. When you arrive at Elstal Train Station you cross a bridge where you can catch a free shuttle to the outlets which is only 10-15 mins away. I believe you can pay for shuttle buses from the centre of Berlin but they are a bit pricey compared to the train. The Lindt store which is much better than any of the Uk outlet stores had some really cheap bargains for chocoholics and flavours you won’t get in the UK. The Levi’s store was far cheaper than the UK Levi’s outlet also. We spent quite a few hours shopping and got some decent bargains and a nice spot of lunch at Nordsee which was very good and cheap. Top tip before you go is to sign up to there Privilege Club,it’s free, while in the UK and when you get the email take this to the customer service desk at the outlets and they give you a book of discount vouchers. Nice day out shopping if that’s your thing.
